The Best Beer Bar in York County . The atmosphere is the most desirable part of the equation, then the creative always changing menu , top notch staff , at least 2/3 of which are owners on any night.
57 seats available. Comfort foods in a "hot spot" environment. Staff assembled from lots of the best places around. No reservations , Amazing specialty beer menu , great wine list , food is very good.
Best tomato soup and grilled cheese you'll ever have. Combine that with an exotic beer list that contains craft brews that a) I've never heard of & b) all score in the mid-nineties on BeerAdvocate.
Fun place for a group! Order a bunch of dishes and share. Tasty cocktails and good beer selection . Sit in the backyard when the weather is ????
A modern yet warm gastro pub offering inventive cocktails , an impressive beer and wine list , a menu that includes “deviled eggs three ways” and poutine with duck confit . [Eater 18 Member]
Beerlady Tully's and The Black Birch are carrying on an affair. I can't recommend this place enough. Everyone I take there loves it. Staff has pedigree to die for. Aura in here is amazing, Love it
NOTHING is unacceptable at The Black Birch accept maybe that EVERYone knows how wonderful it is and you might have to wait to get in. If not the 1st, certainly one of the top places I love.
Poutine , Rilette, their Muscadet(white wine ), Short Rib , specials, and the service :)
The ever changing tap list is enough reason to come across the river . Sharing small plates is the way to go; the menus changes often.
Menu changes monthly, but everything is great. Steak bomb and fish and chips are stellar.
One of the best tap lists in Maine, let alone New England. Get something from Allagash or Oxbow -- they're usually always on tap !
On a duck kick? The duck poutine + duck confit left me speechless.
Great vibe, excellent food and service. Will be back! Stacy recommends anything with duck .
Perfect portions for sharing. Bring a friend or two and try everything
Food is creative as are the cocktails . Can't ask for much more.
Black pepper donuts with strawberry sauce . What else do you need to know?
Excellent food staff and environment
Love this place, wide selection of beer on tap for the beer enthusiasts!
Great drinks, lovely people.
Everything is good here
Great new craft and specialty bar . Look for a Stone Brewing Co. Event in 2012.
try one of the twenty some beers on tap . try them all!
I would recommend everything.
I had the tagliatelle alla bolognese . I wasn't even hungry until I started eating.
Try the Poutine with Duck Confit

Duck confit poutine . Mmmmmm
Pulled pork is the specialty here, very good. Great wait staff! - Sean Kelsey
Great taproom. Live music on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Outdoor seating. Flights. Taster pours at $1.50 or $2 (premium). Good beer. - Earl Belcher Jr
Mussels... the bread pudding....the best cooked Atlantic salmon is made here - Audra Keele
Live music 7-days a week & great beer what's not to like? Did I mention the Guinness beer-battered fish & chips are bomb? If you did not participate in Greek-life in college this is the place for you. - E. M.
