Cozy . The waves at the shoreline are greatly buffered between the 2 reefs . The shore is kiddy pool style. The area between reefs is 4-6 feet deep with light wave bobbing. Very relaxing.
Nice little beach across from farmers market and bad ass coffee . Gentle and shallow waters between reefs for kids.

Nice place across the street to grab a breakfast burrito and come watch the ocean while you eat. The picnic tables are pretty empty in the morning.
Strong Current, Dangerous Shorebreak
Police regularly hide in the parking lot looking for speeders. 20mph limit strictly enforced. Beware
Get some dinner at the farmers market and come watch the sunset
If you're looking for an afternoon nap, don't come here. R/C cars racing around and they're loud .
