Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB)

When you see this place from afar it looks so awesome but once you are next to it and inside it is grand!????????

Internal shots of Hugo Drax's space shuttle hangar in Moonraker (1979) were filmed inside the Vehicle Assembly Building at Cape Canaveral.

Watching the staff here work is such a neat experience. It showed my daughter the variety of jobs in astronomy and other related areas.

The wreckage of Space Shuttle Columbia sits in a restricted room on the 16th floor.

Truly amazing. All the history this place has seen. If these walls could talk.....

That is one honking big building. Last time we were in the building Discovery was being prepped for display.
