New favorite BBQ in Charleston . Place smells like BBQ heaven. You’ll start salivating immediately. Had the brisket sandwich . It was simply the best brisket I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back!

Recommend: Fatty Brisket is melt in mouth tender. Giant Beef Ribs is flavorful and each rib is easily enough for 2 people (over 1 lb per rib ). Also try the Corn Pudding , Mac & Cheese , Collard Greens .

Line was long but WORTH IT! Grab a beer from the bar while you wait. Brisket was the best (melt in your mouth). My southern grandma would approve of the collards . Loved the ribs , pork , & sausage !

Chopped brisket , pulled pork , greens, beans, potato salad and my favorite side, green chili corn pudding . Staff is friendly and funny. I highly recommend Lewis BBQ. Clean , fun environment.

Loved it all. Michelle said the whole thing was orgasmic. We all liked (not love) the coleslaw a lot. Fries were good. Michelle thought they should be dipped .

The brisket was to die for. Same for the huge beef rib . Creamiest Mac and cheese and tasty collard greens . I was so happy.

All of the sides are worth it, especially the potato salad and corn pudding . They might be out of some meats at dinner . And get the pickles and onions !

The brisket practically melts in your mouth. I couldn't get enough. Make sure to ask for extra BBQ sauce .

Next time I’ll try the ribs , the BBQ sandwich was of the vinegar type and was good if you like that style. The sides were delicious too.
