Taco Guild Gastropub

The Taco Guild, now open, serves "Old World" and "New School" tacos as well as salads , sides and an option to build-your-own burrito . The restaurant also offers happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri.

Good overall. Chips and salsa - Great! 3 taco plate . Very good, roasted vegetable & Peking duck were delicious. Tried the lamb , not a fan though. Tres Leches is delicious, not soggy or fruit filled..

The mahi mahi taco was very fishy, The Yucatán shrimp was ok. The steak taco was the winner. It had great taste. The guacamole was delicious and get the corn as a side!! The restaurant is beautiful!

Nice happy hour and drinks... Free chips and homemade salsa always served - 4 interesting and flavorful types of salsa ! Creative and delicious tacos !

Such a unique spot, in an old church ! It is pretty loud especially with loud music . The cherry steak tacos is the best thing you will get here as well as the corn ! I wasn’t a fan of the duck or rice .

Chips and all 4 salsas were incredible! Shrimp taco was good after adding a little spice to it. Grilled mahi was decent but wouldn't order it again. Cucumber drink was awesome!

The street corn wasn't as good as, say Chicago elote . Snapper and shrimp tacos were bright , very clean flavors. Duck taco 's toppings complimented it so amazingly.

Local and cool. I come here everyone I'm in phx. Best tacos , even on lettuce! Grilled romaine salad ... yes! And a tequila bar in an old church ... I must be in heaven.

Beautiful building and great atmosphere. Get the cherry chipotle steak tacos ! The freshly made tortillas and delicious filling of marinated steak and deep fried poblano strings = delish.

Loved it! The food was amazing, so flavorful. Get the frozen margarita . Only complaint was the music being played, country and hip hop just don't belong in that type of atmosphere. No jukebox

I have to say this spot is a pretty cool. The atmosphere, music and food was good. The bar looked pretty stocked, however I just couldn't have a drink knowing it was once a church . Lol. Check it out.

Mushroom barbacoa tacos are fantastic! Shrimp tacos have lots of shrimp but lacking on flavor. Cauliflower tacos were not fried and had zero flavor and I couldn't eat them. Chips are good.

Dude. The tacos were great.. but the green jalapeño sauce is extremely AWESOME. Don't care for the habanero or pequin sauces, but have to mention. :-) atmosphere is great too. Bar after work for me.

Get the Peking duck and a lamb taco . The street corn is to die for. Next time, I am getting the bacon jalapeno guacamole it is more than enough to share!

Great Atmosphere love that they kept the integrity of the building salsa has a great kick and the frozen margarita is Delicious.

Chicharones , street style carnitas , chipotle cherry steak are great. Borracho beans are delicious too, but leave them alone if you can't do spicy .

The happy hour is insane! $5 Margaritas that taste like kool aid and the Daily Taco is always super tasty! 2 - 7pm, 9 - close, all day Sunday.

The chicken enchiladas are some of the best I've ever had! The tacos and guacamole as well !

Hummus can be overlooked, but this starter has a super unique flavor and loads of veggies !

The grilled Caesar salad was exceptional. Gorgonzola , pine nuts and a zesty, creamy dressing made this a must order

The setting is cool and original and the service was excellent. The guacamole was delicious, but the serving size was way too small for the price, in my opinion.

Best salsa picanté u have ever had! House Guacamole is a bit boring though: add the corn or get the "flavored".

My favorite is the fallen angel. And to my surprise Friday nights they have music .

Be prepared to wait. Food is good. However, you can travel down a couple of miles to Gallo Blanco and get even better food for the same price and less waiting.
