Food is uniformly tasty. Anything with pulled pork is great. Drinks are well made. Staff is cool. Kinda pricey , happy hour isn't great, and clientele is more annoying than any other 90042 bar .

The Pulled Pork Cuban Sandwich is the way to go. Even the slaw is delicious.

Try the chese buger 4 real & plenty of beers with mates is cool place to meet up & chill . Excelllllllllllllent

Spicy fried garbanzo beans and a couple of ciders . Love The York when it's slow. Good food base before you go to Johnny's. If you frequent Highland Park you know what I mean. ;)

Be a lot cooler if it operated like a regular restaurant . Or at least if there were paper menus.

Chicken sandwich is really good, fries are great, $5 draft beers are clutch.

Love this place dearly, but they have GOT to stop letting children in. The weekends are seriously overrun with toddlers.

Cheddar burger is amazing. It has pickled onions and the bread is so fluffy.

If you like rye , order the re-animator. Tastes like a spicy old fashion.

All three of the cocktails we ordered off the cocktail menu were terrible and the bartender was snooty.

Truffle grilled cheese & arugula salad like no other.

The fried garbonzos are not to be missed. Order them.
