This subterranean Chinese pub has great craft beer and baijiu cocktails to keep the party going, but you can also opt for some house made noodles , dumplings , or soup , if you're in the mood. Read more
Hip place in downtown LA to get comfort Chinese food and Baijiu cocktails (it's like soju except a little stronger ABV). They have TVs too (which feels a little out of place).
I go for the fri chicken , beef roll , pork dumplings and cocktails . Great prices, good drinks. It's on 8th street next to Terroni, just got to walk down some stairs and you're there.
Everything is great; get your dumplings panfried. The cocktails are all very fresh and expertly made. Impressive beer menu . 4.5/5, would recommend.
The Sichuan spicy cold noodles are worth giving a shot. Creamy, spicy and flavorful. Im not fund of cold noodles but these are great.
order the spicy beef noodle soup . beef is tender, broth is good, noodles al dente . pot stickers and scallion pancakes are also a fave. extensive craft beer menu .
Their one year anniversary today. Free champagne and free food passing around. Quality food plus baijiu (mixed with ginger beer , definitely not as strong as the Chinese version).
If you love chicken strips then give the fri chicken a try. Very flaky crust and well seasoned.
The scallion pancakes are great to start off a meal here. Very lite, not to crispy and delicious.
The spicy beef noodle soup is so worth getting! The meat is super tender and the broth is incredibly flavorful. Highly recommend.
The Sichuan Fish dumplings are my favorite. Try a Baijiu cocktail - there are not many places where you can try that spirit.
Niu Rio Mein: loved the chewy noodles and super tender beef . Split it with a friend if you want to try more dishes!
Some of the best dumplings in LA, and arguably the best in Downtown.
Great craft beer selection . The food is good though the preparation is a little slow.
Chinois Soda is a great drink. Food is quite good too.
Authentic Peking style pub ! Great place to hangout w/ buddies!
Try the fish dumplings with Sichuan chili oil .
The fresh lotus root salad is yummy.
Best dumplings ! Great HH specials
The beef potstickers or the seafood dumplings
The beef role is a sure bet.
Spicy beef noodle soup
my burps have never tasted so good ^_^
Scallion pancakes ! Yumm!
Strong drinks that don't taste too bitter
Food good, service spotty, almost not worth it because of it
Couldn't get food- too crowded .
The burger tastes amazing and their aioli with the fries are great too. - Blake Meier
Currently my favorite place in LA! The manhattans! The burgers! The fries! The appetizers! Wish happy hour went later but I'm always happy here. - Brando
Great lil place with a happy hour and a comedy show every month - Phil Biedron
Worth seeing a show here simply for seeing the inside of such a gorgeous theater. Plus there's a great restaurant at the Ace as well as a fun bar on the roof when it isn't slammed. - Adrian Phillips
