Our first vegan experience... delicious. Try as many toasts as humanely possibly. Cauliflower and carrots are a stand out as additions to your meal. This place will make your meat lover a veghead ????
"My favorite vegan restaurant in NYC — they take veggies to the next level! I’d go just for their baby gem salad , it really can’t be beat." - Nathalie Rhone Read more
Cauliflower was out of this world and carrot toast (awesome bread ) and kale were great. Mushrooms were smoky and had a sort of meaty texture if that's what you want (but good still). Loved this place
Several dishes were highlighted on the vegan episode of BuzzFeed Worth It. Try to avocado salad , sunchoke toast , hen of the woods mushrooms , and celery roots .
Love this little place. The plates are like tapas portion so make sure to share an extra plate with your friends. The kitchen is completely open and you can see how they make everything in front you.
What Dirt Candy should have been—best vegan restaurant I've been to, and great date spot . Get the pea toast , oyster mushrooms , and roasted cauliflower . Gewürztraminer white pairs well .
Beautiful space, great service and good food. We had 5 dishes and 1 was outstanding - the sweet potato salad . The toasts were ok and the cauliflower likewise was just ok.
Sit at the chef 's counter so you can watch them make this heavenly food. Get the sun choke toast , artichoke toast and the grilled baby gem salad . It's like a party in your mouth
One of the best restaurants I've been in the city . Food is awesome and service is perfect. Try to get a seat by the kitchen and my recommendation for a dish is the Hen of the Woods .
Beautiful beautiful tapas spot. Friendly staff and good vegetarian small meals. I would although point out that you won't get away with a bill cheaper than $100 for 2, so maybe more like 3$$$?
I'm not a person who seeks out vegan restaurants but this place was great. Cool vibe and delicious food. Loved the pappardelle , broccoli , sunchoke toast and hen of the woods mushrooms .
What a gem. The toasts are delicious. The celery root dish was the best dish I’ve had in awhile. 2 toasts + celery root + rigatoni + 1 dessert was plenty for the 3 of us.
Ravi DeRossi’s critical darling was the restaurateur's first project to be completely vegan . Robert Sietsema says the food can often be “electrifying,” and you won’t miss meat at all. Read more
Such an amazing vegan restaurant . We sat right in front of the chef and loved his energy. Of course, the food was amazing! Get the kale panzanella salad for sure.
Awesome place for a dinner or date night . Food that even your non-vegan friends should appreciate
Amazing food and service! Take a seat at the bar to have the chefs serve the food they prepared. One dish from every menu was enough between two.
Didn't love the starters, but the mains were delicious! we loved the three we ordered: the celery root , the morels , and the cauliflower . Staff incredibly friendly
Every dish was so fresh and delicious! Tapas style so plan to get a couple of dishes each.
The best restaurant in the neighborhood , obviously. Unbelievably delicious. Get anything. I loved the artichoke toast and charred cauliflower
If you're with the kind of person that can't make decisions and orders everything like a psycho, prepare to eat at least 3-4 toasts. Tip: Sit at the bar , it's entertaining to watch them cook here. Read more
The food was delicious! Everything we tried was great and we'll definitely come back to try the other items on the menu :)
Great date vibes with an all vegetarian menu , plus the option of fancy wines . Win-win for your pickiest veggie date and or friend.
Fantastic for a date or special something. Make a reservation ! Or slip in at the very start of the evening if you are a lucky type
Very tasty vegan food will satisfy anyone who crosses thru the door. Everything was delicious. Stacy loved the bread .
Vegan , romantic , eggplant , avocado , mushrooms , great staff . Stellar all-around.
Unbelievably delicious food. I’m not vegan or even vegetarian but I’m still thinking about the meal we had two days ago.
The celery root is sooooooo good!
Amazing vegan tapas , impeccable service and cozy atmosphere . A standout place for sure
Food was delicious:) and the person with long hair who cooked for us was very sweet and beautiful (*¯︶¯*)
despite a snafu with the rude hostess , the food was delicious and our waiter was kind. reco the fennel toast , king oysters and potato cannelloni . beet/avo salad is nothing special
I’m not vegetarian , this food was still very very very good.
Friendly staff , great quality and quantity of food, strongly recommended.
Loved this place! Everybody was so kind and the food was amazing!!
Get the celery root with baby leeks and the beet salad ! No gf bread for the toasts though
Celery root and paella were delicious. Gem salad was good. Carrots were just ok. Overall very good but pricey !
Everything. Try the beets , mango , avocado , black sesame , tamari...
The potato cannelloni ! And the bouillabaisse ! Excellent food all around
A bottle of the Spanish rosé , hot cauliflower , the paella , and avocado
The cauliflower was spectacular
Vegan food at its best. And yes, it can be at its best.
Great service, delicious food. Highly recommended
Everything. The eggplant toast is fantastic though!
They sat us at the table by the bar and my friend’s chair kept getting hit by the waiter the entire night. It’s overpriced. Doesn’t have a full bar while vegetarian food only benefits from pairing.
The avocado something or other is the star dish
Great, The eggplant toast is fantastic though! Read more

Wow! Everything we tried was great: potato soup, fennel tartine, crispy artichokes, ginger rice and burger! - Saga Undén
For meat eaters: get the philly cheese steak. I know that sounds counter-intuitive. Just do it. - Elliot Chance
Pesto zoodles and artichoke toast were amazing!! After 11 pm all bottles of wine are 50% off - Jordyn Aronowitz
The ginger is so good! Lots of little bits of candied ginger for ginger enthusiasts (like me) - Anissa
