Beautiful Park so close to the metro. 24 miles of paved trails , swimming area,new playground equipment. Some traffic noise and a long train at night

The marshview campsite has an amazing barn and a huge open space for group camping . Bring insect repellent!
Nice beach and usually less crowded thn any Minneapolis lakes . Hopefully the megaphone park police guy comes around with the rules while your visiting...great for a few laughs.
Lovely hiking trails ; rent canoes , kayak , paddle boats and more.
Don't park on the grass. The park ranger riding on the Segway might yell at you for being "un-natural".
Great time & fish !
