Café Brecht

Brecht is a tiny but cozy cafe with a Berlin-feel, where they serve an excellent selection of German beers . Tip: get here early, because it can get quite crowded . Great for dates!

Small bar with a great atmosphere. Wine was around 3.50 a glass and they labelled all of their bar snacks in the menu with allergen information so you know exactly what you're getting

Skip the Kiwi beer (awful) and go for the Federweisser if available! Lots of board games , vintage lounge seating, and drink menu options to choose from. Cool spot!

A piece of Germany in Amsterdam! Lady owner comes from Munich and she brought a piece of Berlin feeling with her when she made this place. Amazing beers , great German snacks , and cozy atmosphere . Win!

Great and authentic atmosphere + nice tea offering. Can even borrow some good old board games for a short return to childhood :). Not so much space though so gets full quite fast.

Glühwein was good. Such a cozy and Berlin vibe in the heart of Amsterdam. A good pitstop just for a drink before museum rush. Limited choice for snack

Just about the nearest I've ever gotten to pretending I'm in the Amsterdam of 100 years ago. Try the Tannenzäpfle Pils if you like Heineken but want to change it up.

This bar is quite alive, cozy and nice inside. Would not define it a cocktail bar , though. More into beer and spirits.

One of the best cafes in town . Just visit it and you'll understand why.

It can be really crowded , but the atmosphere is nice. During the week it's more relaxed. Food is not bad either!
