Archie Moore's

Est. in 1898 by Archibald Moore as a neighborhood bar and restaurant , buffalo wings were introduced to the menu almost a century later in 1982. Today they serve more than 20 tons of wings each month.

The wings at this New Haven institute have always hit the spot in my opinion. Thank you Amy for always being good to me and thank you Stacy for being so warm.

Go on Sat or Sun afternoon (before 5). Sit at the bar and enjoy the antics of Patrick...he is the best bartender , EVER!

Delicious! The wings were amazing as always! Try the clam chowder for an appetizer , it's to-die-for.

They make their own blue cheese dressing . Get it with salad . Also, you can't go wrong with medium-rare traditional burger .

Skip the standard fries . Go for the sweet potato fries or onion rings instead!

If you like the sauce you can buy a jar to bring home. Turns out great!

You probably heard this place has good wings , you heard right.

The wings are spectacular and the service couldn't better. Limited TV , but a hidden gem if there ever was one.

I've been here twice and the service was less than stellar. The food was not as satisfying as the Archie's in Derby and Milford. Very small cramped space.

The wings are famous, the bbq chicken dip is *amazing*.
