National Railroad Museum

If you have the chance, grab a train ride on the engine . Bob was riding our train and he had great stories to tell and after the ride he showed us how his ALCO S-5 switcher works.

We thought this would only be a couple hours of fun, not an entire day of historical enjoyment. The train ride around the rail yard was excellent.

Love it here! We buy a year pass every year. The kids love it and we learn something each time we go. There is a belief that the Eisenhower train is haunted.

Good spot for kids! Climbing into the real trains was so much fun, and for just $2 more you can ride a train around the museum

Be one of the first people off train ...otherwise be prepared to wait at least an hour or more to see Santa. We skipped the seeing Santa...everything else was Magical! I'd do it again!

A little expensive , but a fascinating place for kids and adults.

Preserves the history of, and promotes interest in, great American railways through a collection of more than 70 locomotives and railcars, an educational film , and rides on "Thomas the Tank Engine".

Train history, exhibitions .

The inside and outside of every train is filthy. The dirty and dust covered cars are marked with profanity and bird poop. Given the number of volunteers doing nothing, someone could have wiped up.

Well worth the $9 admission fee. Trains !
