Great place, great food. Stick to the house specialties and curries . Order some fresh naan . Prices/portions are ok. Service is kind of slow due to demand. Great overall.
The chicken Tika mansala. I think I spelled that right. I love this place. Highly recommend. The garlic nan is another favorite of mine. The service is prompt and food is delicious.
Affordable, great flavors, awesome underground cozy location. The naan , tandoori chicken , curry , and rice were all great. The spinach momos not so much. The skin was too tough and doughy
Very authentic and delicious indian food . They have delicious curries and naan . Anything else I've seen looked awesome as well . The setting is very intimate and authentic as well .
The mo mo is a must. The lamb vindaloo was excellent. We will be back to try more items on the menu
Stumbled into the place the first time w/ friends, unknowingly. Thank goodness we did! Good service & portions left me full w/ a bit leftover. The saffron-infused vodka drinks are worth a try!
Perfect meal for 2-4: Chicken Tikka Masala , Palak Paneer , Lamb Kofta and Garlic Naan . Best in town !
My @pandafoodie recommends: Spinach Momo 's With Peanut , Sesame And Tomato Chutneys . Such a great vegetarian appetizer .
Fresh, delicious naan . All dishes were flavorful and tasty. Can’t wait to go again.
I'm not a fan of their Indian food but the interesting Tibetan dishes are way more fun! Solid vegetarian options too!
Sometimes they miss things when busy, like making sure the silverware is clean or forget part of the order. Food is awesome enough to put up with it, though.
Dark and loud inside but food is solid. Get spinach momos and saag chana (spinach ) with brown rice . Specialty coconut curry eggplant dish is deep-fried and greasy so avoid.
The Lamb Kofta and the Palak Paneer are both very good. I have a hard time picking between them every visit. Best Indian Food on Capitol Hill .
Chicken Tikka Masala - 8/10... Lamb Vindaloo very very ???? - 5/10... Gulab Jamun - 8/10
I couldn't tell you what to get but every time I've been here has been great!
Chicken tikka masala was one of the best ever.Lhasa Curry was great.Annapurna Curry was a little bit disappointing.Since many people praise Naan ,I expected a much more, but it was too dry and tasteless
Like Chicken Tikka Masalla? Anna Purna's is different than other Indian places - sweeter and less tomato-ee. If you want something more like other places, try the Lhassa Curry w/Chicken.
This restaurant tends to have sweeter curry/masala than the other indian restaurants i've tried- but i love the customer service! Garlic nan is heaven.
I've never been disappointed with a dish here and you can take mango lassi to go.
You must try the Jaipur Curry with chicken and order a side of Naan bread .
The annapurna curry with lamb and jasmine rice is da bomb
Amazing! Service was great, we received our food quickly even though it was busy. H
If you like spice try the spicy chicken vondaloo. The spiciness sneaks up on you.
Palak paneer was good. Garlic naan was mediocre. Overall cozy ambience .
Great chicken tikka masala and awesome aloo naan
I still dream about the Chicken Ra Sabji and the garlic naan
Lamb kofta was absolutely excellent
you MUST have the fried banana w/ coconut pineapple ice cream . it is the dessert of the century. probably my favorite dessert anywhere!
The Goa Curry is incredible. I ordered it with fish , three stars. The flavor was amazing.
Try the spinach momos ! They're amazing.
Service was so shockingly horrendous that any redemptive quality of the food was completely obliterated. 15% gratuity added automatically. Suspect the score is gamed.
Any of the cocktails with saffron-infused vodka are worth a try. I especially love the mango kashmir
The masala is more sweet than most other places but is still very good.
Lunch menu portions are perfect.
Pud Thai was amazing - unlike any I've ever had. The spicy noodles and tender chicken are wrapped in a beautiful, eggy blanket. I called it my Pad Thai omelette food baby. ????
Excellent lamb kofte !
Great place ! Awesome food!
Spinach Momos , Matter Paneer , Kauli ko tarkari
Chicken masala is divine!
Simply great food and atmosphere.
If you love Indian food , you’ll enjoy Himalayan. And you owe yourself a visit to Annapurna. This basement restaurant has been richly decorated and the flavors match.…
Great Channa masala !
Good. Cheap . Spicy . Fast
Small place, good, and really spicy if you want
Garlic naan & chicken curry
Ma ma mango lassi ... and the green little momos !

Great taste. My favorites are earl gray, stumptown coffee and honey lavender. - Silvia Adriana
This place is my heaven. Don't miss the turmeric lattes at the cafe. They also don't mind if you browse with your pup! - Micaela Pierce
If you like vanilla ice cream, great. If you like hot chocolate brownies, even better. If you want the best combination of the two, go to Hot Cakes. The atmosphere is ???? as well. - Justin McKissick
