So they have great pastries and coffee that's basically rocket fuel, but the most overlooked item is their soup . Made fresh daily and delicious (if a bit pricey at $5 a cup).

Try the almond croissant ! Whether it's studio-wide treats on Fridays or the spread at Creative Mornings, the croissants here are delicious. We've also been known to pick up a few cakes for birthdays.

This place smells like butter, even from 50 feet away. I'm pretty sure that butter is the main ingredient in everything, which in my opinion is a good thing. Get the almond chocolate croissant !

Baked goods are excellent of course, but try the quiche - the eggs are so light and fluffy!

weekdays: Get a "rocher" - dark chocolate ganache balls with hazelnuts ... perfect breakfast/mid day chocolate infusion: only $1.25! weekends: get a beignet . Everything is awesome. I love this place.

Go on a Weekday!! The Almond Croissants and Danishes are rather amazing with the Double Espresso being really smooth. Worth the walk!

I go early in the morning, when the staff is not dealing with the tourist rush, and I can get the best muffins in town (try raspberry !).

The vanilla macaroons melt in your mouth & taste like ice cream . The chocolate croissant is buttery, flakey, & has just the right amount of chocolate .

This DUMBO bakery sustained serious damage after Hurricane Sandy, and was forced to close for almost a year. They’re back up and running now, and their almond croissant makes New York a better place.
