「小乱れ（こみだれ）」「丁子（ちょうじ）」「湾 れ（のたれ）」「尖り刃（とがりば）」「直刃（すぐば）」「互の目（ぐのめ）」…日本刀の美しさの象徴である刃文に色々な種類があることを知りました！…刀工の技術はスゴいですね！
一般入館料は1,000円。一部、国宝 の太刀や重要刀剣、掛軸など撮影禁止の品もあるが大半は写真 撮影OK（フラッシュNG）。日本刀好きの外国人も多く訪れる場所です。
3階の屋上 庭園 には何もありませんが、隣の旧安田庭園 の全景を見下ろすことができます。
上古刀から現代刀まで優れた日本刀や槍などを収蔵した日本有数の刀剣専門博物館 。
展示 内容がコア。安田庭園 が素敵。
