Copp's Hill Burying Ground is a cemetery Suffolk County North End located in United States.

Dating from 1659, Copp's Hill was Boston’s largest colonial burying ground. Cotton Mather of the Salem Witch Trials rests here, and the British used the hill during the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775.
In 1704 seven pirates were hung here. Crowds gathered on the hill & surrounding boats to enjoy. These days Johnny Depp achieves a similar awe in theaters with his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow.
Established in 1659, this is the resting place of many famous early Americans, including numerous craftspeople, artisans , and merchants who lived in the North End during the 17th and 18th centuries. Read more

Grave markers dating back to 1625! So much history. And the grave markers here are thin and leaning, like something from a scary movie .
