Yes, there is always a line , but it gives you time to have your Costco Card and credit card in hand BEFORE exiting your vehicle. Can't stand the meandering customers!
They retrofit the hoses because of all of the morons who forgot which side of the car had the fuel filler . Even now I watch people struggling to get the hose to reach and then hold it in place.
Please use WHICHEVER pump so the lines move faster. The hose is made long in order to accommodate either side. Thank you- Costco employee.
Ignore Kelley K.'s tips. Costco gas hoses are designed to stretch, so just pick the shortest line and be efficient.
Get in the correct lane for your tank! It takes longer when the pump is not on the same side of the car as the tank!
