This locally-owned shop is the newer of two locations (the first is on Main Street in Ames). Stop in and warm up in one of the comfy booths or by the fireplace with a cup of coffee or lunch .

If you stop in for lunch be sure to try the chicken salad . It's "famous" for a reason. The oatmeal cranberry cookies are excellent too.

The reuben is to die for! Get carrots instead of chips and you just added health points to your meal! They even include a side of ranch for the baby c's :-)

All the girls from Montana are genuine sweet hearts . Great staff , great Java, great atmosphere.

The soup of the day is awesome! Any of them, Chicken Pot Pie brings tears to my eyes.

They brew the espresso drinks rather hot here; be sure to ask for 150-160 if you want "Starbucks-level" temps. Had grilled chicken sandwitch and chicken tortilla soup - both very tasty.

They make a great latte !
