Drinks are strong! Portions are huge and typical for beach bar , e.g. Lots of fried stuff. Burgers aren't worth it. I could sit at the big square bar all afternoon.

Had the grouper fish sandwich , it was absolutely delicious! Great friendly staff and even though it was busy, we got seated and served quickly.

We love the lobster with stuffed crabmeat . It melts in your mouth. It's delicious. Although I've never had anything bad at Johnny Longboats. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I had a burger and sweet potato fries - delish. My whole group enjoyed their food and the ambiance - you feel miles away from a strip mall .

A rare find..everything is made from scratch. A sure bet and great island open air atmosphere. Stefan is am awesome bartender !

Fun spot right on the water!! Live music on select nights...fun staff ...family friendly ...and a great hangout after a relaxing day at the beach !! Waiting for my rum bucket now!!

Drinks are good, the conch fritters were super chewy. The fish dish with bananas was suprisingly good. It just needed a little salt.

Try the Malibu Spike. Soo good. Pick n lick shrimp were amazing and the atmosphere is very festive .

Peanut butter burger was a big hit. Loved the Cobb salad and catfish . Been here several times and never had poor service.

Stop by after leaving the beach , and enjoy the nice ocean breezes with dinner . Try the Grouper in a Bag or the Buffalo Calamari , you won’t regret it.

The oysters weren't the freshest. Maybe 3 out of the 12 i got were really good.

Busy place. Simple menu with seafood . Huge bar on center of room with a 20 foot or more stuffed bull shark over the bar I think I am swimming in the pool tomorrow

Best crab benedict I have ever had

Sloooowww service but the food was good. I recommend the seafood soup .

We loved the atmosphere, however the tables were dirty , the food took way too long to be delivered and I ended up with food poisoning. I can't even think about seafood without wanting to hurl now.

Disappointed. Got beef tips appetizer = SO salty. Got the volcano krab roll — took one bite and spit it out. Really fishy. Dowsed in eel sauce . Paid up and left to find dinner elsewhere.

Get the King Crab , you will not leave hungry.

Oyster po boy OK, crab was fake, service was slow to none. Server walked on bar to put up a sign and never wiped the bar clean . Not my kind of place.

Spinach dip is awesome as is the grouper in a bag.

The fruit bin for drinks was overloaded, open and full of flys. The service is terrible and they aren't even busy. The server didn't even wipe off the bar where they served our drinks.

Worst service I've ever had-- waited 20 minutes and never was greeted by a server. Said "excuse me" to the waitress , Kim, at the table next to mine. She gave me a nasty look and told me to wait. Wow.

Went w/my parents who had gone there in past years & had good experiences. Sadly, this year's visit was less that stellar. Food was just "ok" and booth was tired. Won't be returning next year. :(
