One of my fave places to visit, this gorgeous old historic home was vacant for years & used for tours for visitors. In 2015, it was fully renovated and the governor and his family moved in.
This awesome old fashion house is a fun place to take a tour . The third flour where the ballroom is and the basement where the servants quarters were, are the best hidden gems of this mansion.

Now a State Historic Landmark , the Reagans were the last first family of California to call the Old Governor's mansion home- for four months of his two terms, at least.
You can see the Mansion as it looked when Gov,s Warren, Brown and Reagon lived there. Who knows the next Governor could move in and change everything . So see it now and again later .
Ask for Joe! He's one of the best tour guides I've ever had.
Very awesome. Highly recommended!
