Just moved here from Australia. They do NOT have bars like this back home. So much wood, so many candles, so much class . So good for a local bar .
Cash only . The veteran neighborhood bar in Boerum Hill . Beer , wine and mixed drinks in the spirit of a classic dive. Pool + a one of a kind jukebox . Special place.
One of Brooklyn's oldest and most unassuming bars , the Brooklyn Inn doesn't rely on gimmicks: it just serves reasonably priced beer and mainstay cocktails . Read more
Great prices and good selection. Grab a Red Breast and play some pool.
Bring a date here. They'll think you're cool for knowing the best bar in the neighborhood isn't on Smith or Court streets. Have a beer at the bar .
Local place full of weirdos, writers, nerds, and hotties of all genders and persuasions. Sometimes funny stuff happens here.
A nice, unassuming bar with a great ambience. It was so chill , people didn't even make a big deal when Dan Cortese walked in.
My girlfriend lost a light grey long cardigan here. Two years ago. If anyone has seen it, please email me at lurk02productions@yahoo.com. Social media at its best!!!
Great martinis and really nice place for an early evening or Saturday afternoon drink. Pretty space, high ceilings , nice light in the afternoon, great music
Cozy and sexy vibe with locals and newbies. Great place to grab a drink and get close in a corner.
Feels like a classy dive and perfect on a chilly day. Cozy interior and a pool table in back.
Back by popular demand after closing, The Brooklyn Inn has a sleek vintage decor and was mentioned in The Village Voice's top ten jukebox bars !
Great bar . Perfect beers on tap . Historically good seating karma. Hot bros in interesting shirts . Wyatt Cenac sightings. Have fun.
Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. If they gentrified the old brick section of heaven , this place would be the neighborhood bar . Get a Brooklyn Lager and enjoy.
Historic building , chill crowd, pool table is popular
Closed for "renovations?" The most beautiful bar in Brooklyn with just the right aged patina doesn't need any reservations at all. What's going on?
oldest bar in brooklyn , i believe. used to be a teahouse during prohibition and you would press a button if you wanted booze in your tea .
Love this bar so much, it's the perfect Friday evening wind from the week type of a bar ..
Cool, dark, bar with some history. Bartenders are some of the nicest in the city , that I've come across.
Nice old school feel with strong, cheap drinks . It's dark and there's pool, if you're into that kind of stuff.
Place blows up on weekend but it's a good date place . Jonathan Ames and John Hodgeman supposedly come here a lot but I've never seen them.
Don't know much about up front but in back they've got a good pool table and a great juke box
Favorite bar in the city . Good for dates , group gatherings , everything.
Beautiful location, great pool table , cash-only, extremely romantic , kind bar staff .
The laid back and relaxed atmosphere .
Chill , "fancy " dive bar tucked into the neighborhood . Pool table . V cozy .
Feels like a hidden secret. My whiskey and ginger was on the strong side, not that I'm complaining...
An old-fashioned neighborhood bar . Gruff regulars balance out the yuppie newcomers.
Looks tiny at first, but this bar is really spacious ! It's pretty easy to get a table on a weekend night.
Cool, chill , classic. Tucked away from Smith St. Love it.
Great local off the beaten track and one of the oldest. Great jukebox - explore!
I try to find a seat in the back, or play pool . I don't find the bar stools comfortable .
If comfortable neighborhood bars are your thing, this could be your new favorite place.
Whiskey or Whisky , you feel like home here
Oldest and best bar in brooklyn . Best barkeeper. Wow, we're impressed
Cozy neighborhood bar with one mean Bloody Mary . You might even bump into Jason Schwatzman. Boom!
such a unique space but cash only bars have me feeling down

Quaint place to hang for a beer if you don't want to go to crowded Smith St. Bartenders are always nice and the atmosphere is great.
Great whisky pours!
The brothel/inn-like environment was awesome. Pool table .
Dark, good beers , good jukebox , not too crowded on a warm Friday night. A+
Great neighborhood bar . Good beer selection and prices.

Great jukebox , seriously conversational and warm staff .
A very cozy spot to hunker down with some pals.
Old School and Amazing. Go now and go often

Enjoy a game of pool under the newly renovated bar’s dim lights .
Awesome spot, great bar . Bartender could do with cheering up though!!
Great, constantly-changing beer selection with a nice little backyard seating area with picnic tables. Free popcorn (w/ Old Bay if you want?) but it can get crowded on weekends so beware! - Dianna H.
Vegan Thursdays, good taps, pool table in great condition, and Jenga, dominoes and Life as boardgames! In love. - Arminda Klier
Great and frequently updated list of drafts. Also one of the best backyard gardens in the neighborhood. - Matt Healy
Pre 9am it's usually very quiet so a great place to chill and reflect. Always good music playing - Andy Weissman
