Tower climb is somewhat gruelling, especially the last 100 steps , but the view more than makes up for it. Bring water!

The inside is kind of a let down but the grandeur of the outside more than makes up for it. Also try and climb to the top of the bell fry... But bring you're inhaler as its 533 steep, winding stairs.

Once you're here there's no way back - "Die Turmbesteigung" ( The Tower climb ) is a must-do, as the only thing separating you from one of the most beautiful sights of Köln is a 534 step climb!

Believe me, 533 steps is a lot! It won't be an easy climb to the top and your legs will really hurt, but it'll be worth it to see the view .

Definitely a beautiful church but if you consider to take pictures after climbing all the 533 stairs.. the view is good but the net is annoying, especially when you're using a huge DSLR.

One of the best churches I have ever been! There's no entrance fee! You can relax here.. and shops are so near from the Koelner Dom!

You can climb on top of the belfry, which is cool and offers a great view , and the atmosphere in the cathedral is amazing.

Be prepared for a 30 minute climb up the Bell Tower! It's definitely worth it, but you should bring a bottled water with you just in case!

"It's like walking into a death metal video" ... Even if you only have a few minutes changing trains , it's worth walking out to see this mamouth.

Impressive gothic structure . Had to do several rounds around it to to take it all in. Outside is more impressive than indoorsbut why skip it when you are there.

The scale of the dom is simply amazing. Climbing the 500+ stairs is well worth the effort. Visiting the treasury is less inter3sting, not much to see.

Photo tells nothing about the real size of the building ! My 1st words when I saw it was .. .. Waaawooo unbelievable!!

Awesome place to visit. If you visit during winter, make sure you take your coat inside with you. There wasn't any heat.
