Best of Boston 2016: Indian Restaurant 🇮🇳 :: Meltingly tender, bone-in goat masala , accompanied by hubcap-size naan ; sitar-heavy soundtrack; adrenaline-fueled open kitchen .
(according to my Punjabi friends) as close to Punjabi good as it gets in the area. I won't comment on authenticity , as I'm not Indian, but the lamb tikka was absolutely delicious. Very cheap too!
The veggie platter is the bomb and comes with more food than the meat platters! Perfect amount of spice in the curry . The mango lassi is to die for!
Delicious Indian food , and plenty of great vegetarian options ! Veggie biryani , saag paneer and paneer tikka are outstanding; Mixed veggie curry , chicken tandoori and tikka are solid. Samosa > pakora .
I love Punjabi Dhaba!!! They cook authentic Indian food at an affordable price . The cooks will accommodate to some request such making my food extra spicy !!! Only thing it's cash only but worth it.
The anda paneer is delicious, as is most other vegetarian options . The spicy omelet was amazing, but I’m not sure if it’s still on the menu. If so, it is a perfect Sunday brunch decision.
Curry Special is a bargain. Samosa , curry chicken , naan , and side veggie for $8
The two-floor space is spare and your food comes on a metal tray -- that's part of the charm here, where traditional Indian classics come with naan , raita and more.
Everything they cook here is very good. I typically go with the Chicken Saag or Chicken Tikka Masala . Be sure to pick up some naan too!
Seriously YUM! For 10$ you'll get a large portion enough to feed two ppl. Lamb , tandoori chicken , masala chicken - all was good!
The authentic dhaba food, steel plates, and bhangra music take you back to India. So many delicious curries that you can keep coming back!
Chatt is tangy , sweet and sour, spicy snack , and is available here for $3.95. Basmati rice plates start at $5.95, and they take your orders at the counter. The food is served on cool metal trays. Read more
Cheap , authentic and tasty food served 'Dhaba' style! Highly recommend. Stay with chats and punjabi dishes though. Dosa/idli subpar!
Everything’s good but I have to say their samosas are simple go to comfort.
Everything is great here: Chicken Tika , Lamb Saagwala, Tandori Platter. You really can't go wrong.
Order multiple samosas for a cheap , filling dinner ($1.45ish each)
Somehow manages to be the best Indian food at the best price and with hefty portions , too.
Very authentic Indian food . So good.
Authentic Indian place. Food is decent. Good Lamb Biriani . Lamb Karahi too.
Everything from daal, saag paneer , tikka masala and malai kofta is great!
Goat vindaloo curry rocks and has just a bit of a kick. Samosas are great too!
Great chicken tikka masala . Huge portions at very affordable prices
Top notch. Everything is good. Huge portions . Come hungry
If the wait is over 15 minutes, not worth it. Trust me. However, get lassi (sweet or salty) on your way out. Probably the best lassi in Boston.
When ordering tge Chicken Curry special with veg , you can swap for Chicken Tikka Masala .
Great dhaba style Indian food ! Awesome for late night eatery
Chicken bhartha is a delicious veggie based marinade perfect for nan dipping
Chicken tikka masala is delicious! Cute little place and good music while you wait/eat
Apparently even though they're "open" until midnight on weekends, the kitchen closes at 11:30.
Cash only , but there's a BofA across the street. Lively but messy ambiance with Bollywood videos playing on a small TV . The food was just ok -- not much garlic in the garlic nan and my CTM was watery.
I liked the Dhaba Jerk Chicken , strong flavors.
If you can ignore the blaring Bollywood tunes , you'll love the delicious (and CHEAP !) Indian fare. Read more
Cash only accepted here
I love this place! Choose anything. It'll be delicious. Last time I went, they were playing Indian hip hop . Not sure if they do that all the time or what.
It doesn't look like much when you walk in, but it's seriously the best Indian food around.
Omelettes and chhole bhature are awesome
Best Indian in the Greater Boston Area.
Bhel puri , lamb Rogan Josh, samosas
Your clothes will immediately soak up the smell of the food. It will be your new perfume. Dress appropriately and never go here as stop #1 before a big night out.
House is full at Punjabi Dhaba on Super Bowl Sunday. My kind of crowd.
All the parathas are amazing.
Interesting Bollywood videos while you wait (which is a while). Worth it!
Best Indian food in Cambridge!
Everything!
Get the Keema Matar or the Lamb Seekh Kababs .
The curry platter is my fav. It's a value meal!
You will love the Chana bhatura... (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Chole bhature are amazeballs
Awesome Indian food ; there is more seating upstairs.
