Lovely Southern Life

The atmosphere is high-energy on game days! My husband loves the craft beer with blueberries . I had an amazing Red Pepper & Goat Cheese Chicken Sandwich on the deck. Love the t-shirts, too.

Anthony Corbett

Brunch is great, beers are great, great outside eating with a great view of Franklin St . Just go!!

APA

Best view ! Good food during day, THE place to go on Saturday night - if you can stand that like OR get there early, come for dinner and have you drinks. Love the old well white

Christian Alvarez

What I recommend getting: The Bavarian Pretzels , the beer cheese is to die for. The Buttermilk Chicken or Filet Mignon is recommend!

Damian Bayona

First timers have to try the blueberry beer . Go during the afternoon to cool off and sit out on the balcony . Can get busy at night.

Carrie Nyden

The outside deck is great on a warm night! It provides for great people watching since it looks out on Franklin St. I haven't tried many of the beers , but I hear they are good. The wines are decent!

Christian Alvarez

Fridays and weekends tend to be extremely packed, which is the only downside. However the rooftop seating is worth it!

The News & Observer

Cask-conditioned ales are available in the back bar . It's a throwback to when beer was made before pasteurization. Enjoy a beer brewed right on site. Read more

Great place to eat and Drink during summer ask for the tefreshing summer chop with a slice of orange authentic microB in town awsume view of franklin st !

Alexa Thompson

The cocktails are really good! Also, the food is yummy! Don't forget the outdoor patio and the view of downtown Chapel Hill! Its a great place.

David Wooten Jr

EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS AND THE STAFF AND THEIR COWORKERS ARE PERFECT!

Gina

Great beer , beautiful space. Outdoor seating . Nice menu, but it would be nice if they changed it up occasionally.

Lari Barcellos

Saturday's dj is better than the one on Friday... Don't know his name though! The bar downstairs is great if you want to skip the craziness on the dance floor !

Greg Valenski

Outdoor seating is great especially on a nice day because you overlook Franklin street . Go for the short ribs or fried chicken !

Brianna Hales

The Chatham County free bird is really good. Mashed potatoes are delicious. If you get pasta get grilled chicken on it!

Amalie Kristoffersen

Ask for a strong & girly (aka Stoli Family) if you need something good, fresh and sweet that gets you drunk fast. Careful though; two straight, and you are likely to get a blackout.

Top of the Hill Restaurant & Brewery at 14 minutes drive to the north Chapel Hill dentist Brightside Family Dental

Syndicate Media Group

Chapel Hill [Eat, Drink] Many a Syndicate employee hails from UNC-Chapel Hill . Go for the classic in-house brew: Old Well White . If you're hungry: the sweet potato fries .

Welcome to College

Your visit to UNC is not complete without a stop to the nice restaurant on the 3rd floor of this building! The outside deck looks over Franklin St. and is the place to be on a Thurs, Fri, Sat night.

Miranda

The restaurant supposedly has a breakfast buffet on Sundays with a bloody mary bar -- I need to investigate this, especially if ToPo is going to start distilling its own vodka !

Jimmy

Grit cakes with shrimp are awesome. Great beers as well !

Emily Andino

Great views of Franklin Street ; perfect place for people watching . Blueberry wheat is the best!

Gina

Their beer is lovely, though expensive . Location is dynamite. Sit on the patio for a classic Chapel Hill experience.

Betsy Brucker

Place can get crowded if you're just looking to come for a drink, don't expect a seat. Beer is brewed on site with rotating options.

Amalie Kristoffersen

If the line to get into Topo is long, try to get in via Back Bar . It is possible to go through, and you usually don't have to wait in line !

Christian Carreno

If you want Chicken parmigiana (which is not on the menu ) you can ask your waiter/waitress for it and its really delicious.

JessC ⚓

When the blueberry wheat goes out of season, the cran-apple wheat becomes your best bet. Served with a seasonal apple slice . :)

Robby Marshall

Eat dinner here earlier in the evening, and let the party form around you instead of waiting in line to get in at night.

Robert Horvick

The soy burger was an unexpected find and reasonably priced. Service was a little disappointing but the food and beer made up for it.

J McGee

Awesome place, view , food, beer and staff . Please change trough urinal out tho! A little gross.

Jordan Sartori

Can't go wrong with Topo, old well whites , and a view of Franklin St

Jason M

If the blueberry beer is out of season, there is NO problem in falling back on the Old Well White

Michael Arthur

Try the lizard chips . Fried pickles and jalapeños might sound odd, but they're fantastic -- especially with a good beer !

Emilio C

Great place to go on a weekend night to hang out.

David Harper

The Belgian White is the best beer , the Bison burger w/sweet potato fries is the best meal, Patrick is the best bartender and he looks like Jason Segel.

Rachel Magario

Hostess great, good food with a few gluten free options . Gluten free dessert though, you are better off somewhere else . No luck here.

Kristie Ness

Choo Choo chocolate stout .. Really good, one of the few that have the chocolate taste and not just the smell

Jay Hamilton

Do not order the calimari . It's all about the view . Must get a table on the rail looking down on Franklin street

David Heiser

The dance floor gets real ratchet on weekend nights.

John Lovett

Good brews on tap , especially blueberry beer

Sam Hoffman

The view on the outdoor patio is amazing

Jackson Farris

Soft shell crab dinner special this week. Holy Poseidon they are good!

The pizza is amazing, especially when it's half-off from 5-7 every day!

Michael M

Find yourself on the menu picture

Rhyan Walters

Enjoying the seasonal, blueberry beer !

The bathroom door opens outward which is excellent.

The blueberry wheat is surprisingly excellent and not overwhelmingly fruity
