Authentic Indian south of Devon can be tough to find. Throw in Nepalese , an array of curries , platters, and cocktails and you might not go back up north. [Eater 38 Member]
The food was great, I went for the lunch buffet with some friends and had a great time. The rice pudding was a pleasant surprise and the chicken tika was superb. I really enjoyed their naan as well .
We won't blame you if you wanna get in on everything at this authentic Wicker Park 70-seater's Nepalese lunch buffet , where you'll likely get delicious saag with corn or paneer , and allll the samosas . Read more
gorkhali khasi (chunks of bone-in goat meat stewed in flavourful nepalese spices | a delicious spice forward sauce with tomatoes , onions and nepalese spices)

All the food was delicious and they have a very impressive knowledge of their menu. I have a lot of food allergies and felt as safe as could be since the manager told me what was in everything.
I tried a couple of the Nepalese dishes, the goat was super tasty. Everything I tried was well prepared and delicious. Try the dumplings !
The food here is incredible! The garlic naan is a perfect appetizer . I'd suggest getting an entree and splitting it, as there is plenty of food to share.
They have a lunch buffet but not a dinner buffet , FYI. Had great service and love that it feels very classy and clean . I do prefer the chicken tikka masala from India House tho. Still good!
lamb keema naan (naan stuffed with minced and spice-insused boneless lamb )
The tamarind and mint chutneys may be reason alone to visit Cumin. But, wait, the menu offers a dozen different breads and Nepalese dishes, all prepared by Chef Min Thapa. - Inspector
Loved!!! Kingfisher , chxn momo ,shrimp or lamb vindaalu (super spicy !), fish/chxn tikka masala . I'm always overwhelmed w/menus @Indian restaurants . Will go back n try buffet or w/knowledgable friend
Excellent Indian food ! I prefer mild dishes, but if you want spicy , there's plenty of options too!
Very tasty appetizers . I tried a Nepalese special, spicy and aromatic. Loved it!
Butter chicken is always good. It may be the only dish that is good for the heart. I d5know what I mean by that.
Absolutely fantastic. Came on Saturday and they have a buffet . I normally don't do buffets but the food just looked and smelled so good...and it WAS!
The Chana masala was amazing. Definitely get naan and paratha to go with it
The chicken Tikka masala was some of the best I've ever had but the staff here will definitely say horrible things you in Nepali thinking you don't understand what they're saying. Rude.
Go for Lunch ! $13 for a lunch buffet with fresh pita . Everything I had was amazing!
Legit Indian food . I think every Indian as well as non Indian will love the food here
The goat biryani and chicken sahi korma are excellent. But the heat was a little extreme and did a number on my digestive system. Ask the waiter if they can lower the spices to medium or mild.
The vegetarian samosas were great, as were the lamb curry and chicken tikka masala !
Great food, well flavored but a tad overpriced. Great as delivery too for indian/nepalese food
delicious samosas and I tried a nepalese special, spicy but not overwhelming.
Best Indian food I've had in Chicago. Be ready if you ask for extra spicy !
The chaat and the chicken tikka masala are amazing.
The Black Forest is a lovely and delicious drink composed of pear , elderflower and violet flavors.
They dont have momos for lunch which is crazy! Biryani is mediocre at best (I'm a biryani snob)! Chicken 65 couldve been better. Pistachio kulfi is amazing though.
Good lunch buffet , but they don't hit the same level of spiciness as many Indian places.
This place is SO good. Legit Indian food and always ranks tops in the city .
If your feeling adventurous and like the heat, get the vindaloo !

The poori and Paneer Chilli Fry is SENSATIONAL!!!
Get the Chicken Tikka . Great place. Great service.
Great food. One of the best naans in the city . Super slow service. Better off with delivery or lunch buffet .
Damn near everything is worth putting in your face!
the lamb kebab tandoor is delicious.
AMAZING WEEKEND LUNCH BUFFET ! a much better deal than coming for one entree of the same price during dinner ! Very traditional, v yum!
Excellent food and service.
Awesome Paneer Naram Garam Pakora !
The Chaat samosa was the best 5 bucks I've spent at Indian restaurant in a long time.
Ask Dipesh at the bar to make you as Black Forest . He is the drink mastah.
a bit pricey , but large portions you can share & save for leftovers. lots of naan options!
I echo the love for the tamarind and mint chutneys !
Excellent lunch buffet
America's best nepalese restaurant
Always get naan
The $12-13 (weekday-weekend) lunch buffet was tasty, but had less options than India House downtown. Check your bill - ours had 20% tax on it.
The lamb naan appetizer is excellent.
Rice is free only when dining in. Weird.
Samosas, garlic naan, mango lassi and chicken tikka masala are great here! BYOB if you'd like - Konstantin Taletskiy
I love the paneer wrap and also the aloo wrap. I relish over their masala fries. - Rahul Koshy
Chicken tikka masala, samosas, naan, mango lassi..everything is delicious - mariscia thompson
This places has a great, super chill vibe. The Honey Bear latte is one of my favorites. - Steph Taylor
Excellent selection of arcade games and they have bands playing too. The place is great! Oh they also have really good pinballs. - a
