Birmingham Zoo

Wonderful zoo . Bring cash for things inside. Personally found it difficult to see some of the animals but you can't help where an animal is sitting when you pass.

Very fun and lots to see, how ever I wish the train conductor said what the animals were or at least talked about what we were passing by. Other than that it was great!!!

It's large so prepare to walk, a lot. After general admission, there are a few things you can pay extra for like riding a Camel or feeding a Giraffe. Some animals are hard to see, but it's still nice

The Sea Lion show at 10am & 2pm is fun for the kiddos. The indoor areas are great too. There is not enough baby/toddler seating in ANY of the food areas, so your kid may have to eat in their stroller.

Amazing! The Dino exhibit was really cool! And lots of baby animals along the trails of Africa!

It's rather small, but there's plenty to do and it's well worth the price. You can finish this in about four to five hours if you methodicallly read and look at everything.

Go see the red pandas ! They have two young ones right now who love to chase and play. They're unexpectedly in the predator exhibit .

Haven't been in years and it was great going again as newly weds to celebrate my wife's birthday. A Peacock posed for me with it's feathers up to take a picture and we played with Lorikeets .

Great place to go. The Christmas light show is romantic and a blast to go to. Nothing like eating s'mores and drinking cocoa .

Great place for a casual daytime date. Check the weather, first, though.

The Birmingham Zoo has come a long way and is really a spectacular place. I still miss Monkey Island and the Bear exhibits .

If you have kids/grandkids you should get a zoo membership. The best value around.

Be sure to bring a few quarters. You'll either be glad you did or sorry you didn't. Trust me on this. .

Love the Zoo . Go early and beat the crowd of people if you have small children.

If you are wanting to see the Dino's you need to do it soon bc they are about to be gone!!

It's pretty clean but Monday's are not the day to go. Most shops are closed or lacking variety.

They're trying to make it better. The middle section just past the entrance seems like such wasted space.

So much fun! Way better than the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans I thought.

Somebody needs to start cleaning this place up. Everything needs some maintenance!
