Legendary Venue. Been going here since I was a teenager going to the Basement parties. I'M NOT A BIG DRINKER BUT IF YOU DRINK, BRING ID AND EXPECT TO PAY $10 FOR 1 BEER ! (DEC '17)
Pretty cool concert venue for those who are into electronic or rock music . You'll get a lot of big bands to come through, and there are multiple stages/arenas to check out. Affordable and close!
Love The Rave and all its history (not to mention the great shows)! Drinks are a tad expensive though so make sure you are prepared for that!
I love the concert and how close you can get if you come here early. I also love the bars in the building, too.
Check out the roof view . The ballroom on the way up to roof is incredible to see. Great venue at incredible price to get in. Be safe neighborhood scary
Pregame before you come to the show. Paying 8 USD for a spotted cow is ridiculous. Nonetheless, the shows that do come to the Rave/EaglesBallroom can be good.
Need a drink? Walk in any direction you will hit a bar . There are plenty of them.
Drink prices are high but love the venue. There really isn't a bad view , love there's a lot of room!
Best concert hall in Wisconsin!! So many great people have played here.
Don't chance it, park in their pay for parking lot behind the venue since a lot of the side streets are permit parking only. The sure fire way to ruin your night is to have your car towed!
Day glow in Milwaukee kicked ass. I had so much fun. Worth every penny
Really cool space, BUT it's super hot and the drinks are incredibly overpriced.
The vibes, the energy, even the staff were very personable
The Panera Bread PA system sounds better than the sound here... Get your shit together, Rave!
The Rave has been a place where famous rock bands always got their starts to fame. I went for OAR in the Eagles Ballroom and it was awesome
They pull in some great acts but, they need to address some stanky old bathrooms . You can buy beer but, it’s pricy .
$19 for 2 small rum and cokes but the venue is great
Panic! At the disco was awesome here!!!
Have yet to see a drinking fountain in sight and it's $3.50 for a bottle of water. It's hotter than hell in here with no ventilation. I'm waiting for someone to pass out from dehydration.
Go up to the roof! Beautiful view of Milwaukee!!!
Dodgy neighborhood , don't leave things out in your car. Two drinks will run you $17.50... Come buzzed.
"2 drink ticket" is the way to go!
On 02/21/2011 the Decibel Sponsored Creatures from the Black Abyss Tour stops here! Featuring Cradle of Filth, Nachtmystium, Turisas and Daniel Lioneye
Kidkel69 here from the Milwaukee Rock Music Examiner , we love The Rave
"Catch a show at the Rave" - from the top 100 things to do before graduating from Marquette University
Really don't like their line policy - it didn't seem to work when I caught a show there recently. People camped out because the Rave didn't enforce their "no camping " rule.
Bring your ticket stub back to Leff's Lucky Town after any show and receive a FREE pint of Miller Lite or Highlife.
Bring ear plugs, unless you want to own a pair of heating aids before your 60! :-)
Free tickets get you in but some say you need to buy 2 drinks, so its more like 15 bucks, still not bad
Get venue for smaller acts
Drink before you go. High prices on beverages.
Cool place but the acoustics are not great.
I think the crew are all dead. Such a weird weird place in every way
Get drunk before you go! Drinks are absurd!
Acoustics suck, drinks are way over priced and it's hotter then hell no matter which stage you're at, if it wasn't the only venue that has great bands and is cheap in Milwaukee I would never come here
Great concerts great fights
$5 off for all Marquette students. Don't forget to show your MUID!
$8 beer night rocks!
Overheard / this is the best fucking night I've. Ever lived
Eagles room is HUGE but 8 dollars for a beer , even in miller town ?! Come prepared!!
drinks are pricey , plan accordingly.
Coat check is $3 so don't forget to bring a few bills.
Don't buy the drinks! Ridiculous!!!! And don't motor boat zakye wilde
$17.50 for a rail double FYI.
This venue will surprise you.
So creepy it's amazing!
Drinks r way too expensive . $13.50 for one mixed drink & one soda .
We promote and interview bands at the Rave
Oh my lord! Ridiculous!!!
