By far, my favorite restaurant in downtown Arlington Heights. I'm a big fan of the chicken tinga and carne assda tacos , but everything is fantastic.
Ask about the mole of the week. Folks bashing mago and favoring salsa17, I'm skeptical of wether they are legit reviewers. S17 is great but completely different. For what it's worth, I prefer Mago
The food was delish. I ordered shrimp enchiladas & was very happy with my meal. The place is perfect for get togethers and large group.
Incredible guac , out of this world salsas . Don't have the same old 'rita, try the mezcal margarita w/pomegranate. Mix the chili salt rim in to balance the tartness and give it a little bite.
Great margarita options and the food was delicious. They label their gluten free menu items, which is always a plus.
Excellent restaurant and bar ! Cousine is probably best described as contemporary Latin and includes some interesting takes on traditional fare. Margaritas are made from fresh ingredients .
Go somewhere else for bland, typical, Americanized Mexican food ; Visit MAGO for vibrant colors and flavors that tickle all of your senses; Enjoy the salsa trio , al pastor dishes and mezcal cocktail .
The mango sangria is amazing! I got the tiger shrimp taco , the asado taco and the BBQ pork taco ! Simply delicious!
Great place to go before or after a class or show!!! Good food and a nice atmosphere!
Guacamole is prepared freshly in front of you and is tasty. I recommend the ropa vieja and the plantains .
A little pricey but everything was delicious! Burritos are so big you can share them.
Really enjoyed the food/salsas/drinks but don't go before a show at the neighboring theater - people will not give up their tables until showtime.
Margaritas are fantastic and made with all fresh ingredients Food is flavorful with a kick
Great options for vegitarians - try the hongos tacos or the rajas tacos
Get the guacamole made at your table! Yum!
Ehh. Not that impressed. I ordered tacos al pastor and tacos camarones . Both were so spicy hot I could hardly eat them. Personally, I prefer Salsa 17 one block east.
The salsa trio is great!
Unique salsa and chips . Always eat too many chips !
Really excellent take on calamari here - it's grilled, not fried!
Try the churrasco
The steak fajitas are amazing!
Open til ten on weekdays, not eleven ????
Of all the choices for Mexican food in downtown Arlington , this is my least favorite. It's the most pricey and cramped and I wasn't impressed with the food or service. Go to Salsa 17!
Flan with cool whip. Yeah, not yummy whipped cream .
Natalia is my favorite bartender around. Tip her well !
Everything is good.
Nice place, nothing to rave about but def decent! The ceviche sampler was really good!
If you are allergic to peanuts then make sure you don't have the peanut salsa
I always say the chips and salsa can tell u a lot about the food. Their chips and salsas were very disappointing. Their food was just "ok"Sorry to say but this is my first and last time here.
Beautiful decor, food and service.
No reservations and was seated right away on a Saturday night at 7pm. Very busy too.
Service was slow and pushy. Sever kept asking if we wanted to order anything else after we asked for the check. Our order consisted of 2 sets of three tacos and it took 30-minutes. No table-side guac
Best guacamole I've ever had.
Excellent tequila mojitos .
Amazing chips and salsa !
Great margaritas !
The salsa though.
Mago is magnificent! Don't listen to Bernie, he's a dewsh!
Two Mago salads
Excellent food and wait staff !
I think the food is better than salsa 17...and WAY less crowded
Not a fan. Didn't like the way we were treated by staff . Would never return. Salsa 17 is one block away and everyone prefers it. Now we know why.
This place is fantastic!
Chips & salsa !!!
Open until 1 PM
Great food and house margsritas
Food was WAAAAAY over priced for the so-so quality and smallish portions, and poor customer srvc attitude. Needs more than one $.
Good food; terribly slow service ruined the experience. Likely will not return
Lots of vegetarian options! The fried ice scream was amazing as well!! - Nisha Khadiwala
Great quesadillas. Fabulous Steak a la Mexicana, if you like spicy. Ask for some sabinas - fresh, hot chips. All-around some of the best Mexican you'll find. - Scott Kier
Not too impressed, bland food... Shocked to see that one burrito has more than double the calories of a Big Mac - Geoff Sulkowski
If you are interested in performing arts you should definitely take a class here! The teachers are great! - Emily Tyndorf
I really like the fired green beans as an appetizer, and also the fact that the extensive menu is vegetarian-friendly. - Amie Hartnett
Love the space/vibe here. It takes up the whole floor and different areas have different vibes. You can dance the night away or have an intimate conversation. All the bartenders have been great. - Stacy Hacker
