Liberty Park

One of the nicest parks in the valley! With it's huge mature trees and beautiful expanses of lawn, flowers and amenities , a true jewel in downtown Salt Lake City!

Salt Lake City's own little central park . Grass, volleyball , an aviary, a pond with boats, a great chipped mulch running path around the outside...Oh and cool events !

Hit up Park Cafe restaurant on the south end of the park on 13th South. They are open 700 am - 300 pm! Fantastic breakfast ! You may see a RSL player there!

Gorgeous park with lots of space to roam and watch birds , people, and wild chalk graffiti . Also LARPers .

SLC's 2nd biggest park and boasts 80 acres. Check out the Tracy Aviary , Isaac Chase Mill , and home. On June 17, 1882 it was introduced as a recreational area and officially named Liberty Park.

Great place to run, bike or board. Stay and have a BBQ or check out the Hippie drum circle on Sunday afternoon.

Best place to run easy laps (no hills ), people watch , play volleyball , watch fireworks and enjoy the fall foliage. Also, I am a big fan of Tracy Aviary . Don't go if you don't like birds though.

Nice place for walking. You can feed birds , see kois in pond and learn history of this place.

Centrally located park accessible by 3 bikeways. Includes a circular bike path , playground and pool

Spend the day. We went on City Sites tours which only allows 15 minutes!

They should film a reality show called "Extreme Picnicking " here. People bring everything from full grills to PA systems and furniture on the weekends.

Wonderful park ! My favorite part is the canyon water play area in the center!

Liberty Park is one of the best places in the entire city to walk your dog. Don't forget your leash and poop bags!

Kids park is a fun and safe place to come and relax while the little ones have a total blast.. There is something for everyone here really

Walking paths throughout the park , with a separate loop for biking/running.

Great place to run. The playground is super fun. The Tracy aviary is really fun to but if you don't like birds it's not your place.

Tracy Aviary is great, the woodchip running path is to die for, and if you're hungry near the south side, Park Cafe is orgasmic

Great park . It is easy to spend the entire day here. Bring a blanket and a picnic . Be prepared to people watch !

They have free wi-fi, but you have to be on the southern end of the park . It wasn't able to reach the northeastern pavilion.

The southeast corner of the park usually has open parking spots .

Perfect park to rollerblade in. Lots of slack liners too

Walking. It is a nice fall day, a little chilly.

1.5 miles per lap around the outside loop. Have a nice run or walk!

Try paddle boating before noon. Then treat yourself to icees and a ride on the glider.

The gazebo is great for lures in Pokémon Go!

Drum circles , juggling, LARPing. You've got it all at this park .

Stay away from the shores of the lake but check out the Aviary and the amusement park ! They rock!
