Beautiful place when it isn't raining. Often some events are set here.
Nicely decorated plaza in between modern and traditional buildings on the seafront
Used to be known as the Oval Basin or Bowl, now called Roald Dahl Plass. "Plass" is Norwegian for Place / Square, paying respect to Roald Dahl 's roots of both his parents being from Norway.
As a Doctor Who and Torchwood fan I couldn’t not have a look!
Don't forget to visit the Torchwood Tower .
It will flood with a high tide and heavy rainfall.
Watch out for that hole in the ground in front of the water tower . Torchwood is watching.
Seen in DW and Torchwood .
Some rather nice skate and bike jumps to be had here.
Il n'est plus la dalle ! Ou y a T elle été un jour ? Who "nose " ?
1 of d best beaches I have visited - Mayank Agarwal
If you ever have some free time in Cardiff, these gardens are worth a visit: beautiful all year around, and very close to Cardiff University's Main Building too. - Cardiff Alumni Network
A fantastic place at Cardiff Bay! The building itself is astounding. The sound within the concert hall is excellent. A great place for all types of entertainment ???????????? - Mark Cobley
Great views of the Torchwood Hub / Tower, but they've now built a hideous block of flats behind it. The other entrance (Mermaid Quay) has loads of tributes, cards etc & is regularly updated by fans. - Chris
A great array of bars, restaurants and coffe shops with lovely views across the bay. It can get pretty packed down here in the summer. - James Allen
