Daan Forest Park

Taipei's central park , which is an oasis of serenity in Taipei. There are quite some beautiful birds in the ecological pond . You can also feed the squirrels in one of the trees surrounding the pond .

Lovely park , combining green open space for dogs, a large pond / nature reserve for bird watching , & a great kids playground / sand pit. Busy @ weekends, it is really popular with absolutely all ages.

This is a great place if you want to photograph all sorts of birds up close. There is a pond with many large birds used to people so they will come very close.

It is famous in Taipei, you can go by car or train .In the park , there are many trees , flowers and squirrels around you.There also has many entertainments that you can do and have fun with your family.

Gorgeous and serene and absolutely one of a kind. Cinephiles might remember it from the ending of Tsai Ming-liang's VIVE L'AMOUR.

Great place for running, except of course when it rains and the path gets a bit slippery. One lap around the park is about 2.5km.
