Barbacoa and fried chile rellenos are terrific. Salsa was runny, spicy , with lots of cilantro and onion , which I liked but GF didn't. Refried beans were incredibly flavorful, maybe even with lard!
Finally! A Mexican place that isn't that southwestern navajo inspired crap. This place is as close to the artery-clogging TexMex that I miss so much. The table salsa is perfect!!
Order the ciccarons on everything. On the taco salad . Enchiladas . Iced tea -- just DO IT. They're that amazing
Great happy hour . The mini rellenos are a must (order with sour cream as they are spicy ).
Salsa is yummy, and just right hot. Chips were fresh and warm. This was our first time, and we will definitely come back.
Just had the Tacos al Carbon and they were a absolutely amazing. Get the steak .

They put TONS of chili powder in everything. It all tastes the same, even the salsa . Seafood Chimi : terrible texture, bland flavor. It was terrible. Had Mole , Carnitas , and menudo . ALL was terrible!
