The space is small and so are the portions but the flavors make it worth it. Get fried okra to start, wild rabbit pulao as an anchor for the aloo chaat , grilled mustard broccoli & soft-shelled crab
The tapas portions keeps you longing for more but takes away the authenticity of it all. The mini uttappams were a disappointment. The lamb chops were definitely great, like mum's home cooked chops.
This place is so bomb ???????????? the venison and vermicelli doughnut , lamb rack , soft shell crab ...... definitely not to miss if you like indian food and want something apart from chicken tikka and curry
Lovely quirky place, aloo chat and okra fries are yum. Great service ????????Can't book a table but they put you on the waiting list and text you if your table is ready. A tad overpriced in my opinion
Delicious sharing plates - highlights were the lamb chop and aubergine & kale ! Order 2-3 dishes per person, and ask about the spice level for each dish (our meal was too spicy since we didn't check)
Delicious and spicy . Small plates so go with 3-4 others to sample more. I especially loved the lamb chops , saag paneer , rum bread pudding . Use OpenTable / call for large groups (we had 6 people)
Standout Indian food in London...having been here about 4 times and picky about Indian cuisine . Highlights from menu are venison “doughnut ”, okra fries , egg masala and lamb chops . Enjoy!
Soft shell crab , the lamb chops are to die for, the shot of soup , duck , broccoli , and the chocolate chi dessert , all recommend
Food here was out of this world! Very punchy flavours and great quality ingredients. Favourites were the broccoli and lamb chops !
New favourite Indian restaurant for me - liked it even better than Dishoom . Who knew broccoli could be so tasty??
Great Venison Doughnut , okra fries and Broccoli . Rum pudding was alright but not to the level of the other 3. A place to recommendation
Small plates , non-traditional Indian food (i.e. don’t expect to find curry !) that is full of flavor. I particularly liked the lamb chops . Come at around 6 to get a table, as seats run out by 6:30.
One word: DELICIOUS! Great food, the rabbit rice is super and the aubergine salads is amazing!! Try it, try it now!
Definitely get the lamb chops ! The portions are smaller (tapas style ) so it is a bit pricier than it seems, but delicious and worth it for the price.
Had an overall good experience here! The food was mostly very tasty. The lamb chops are great but v expensive . I would describe the place as more cramped than cosy. Waiting time was 1.5 hours for me
8/10: another amazing Indian meal in London. A bit less classical than a Dishoom but not nearly as "colonial" as a gymkhanna. More "classical elevated " ala tamarind but cooler environment.
Great menu - everything was tasty! Particularly loved the ribs , lamb chops , broccoli and saag & paneer . Nice kick to it all!
very interesting tastes, doughut is very good
Super cosy, real whole in the wall feel and great food!!! If you're into Indian absolutely worth a visit!!
better than Dishoom . Amazing authentic Indian food .
Bread pudding , and that soft shell crab ???????? perfect spot for a mini celebration
Excellent Indian food , advise to book as its busy. Try everything the flavours are amazing.
I'm in love. Get there early. Don't miss the specials board, and order the soup shot (first on the menu).
With a group of 6 you can order one of everything on the menu and it comes to just about the perfect amount of food!
The food is great, all the spices balance superbly. But: it's really expensive , the portions are small. No tips go to wait staff ! Take the service charge off if you want to tip, unethical practice!
Tamarind Ribs , masala lamb chops and glorious aloo chaat . Super spicy , super flavoursome. Trendy and authentic
We ordered nearly every dish on the menu. One of the best meals I've had in recent memory.
Get it all! Lamb chops and tandoori chicken were fantastic! N
this is the saag paneer . food was great but i was surprised to hear they don't serve bread
A few tables available for booking online for dinner , if not, they leave spots free for walk-ins.
That mustard broccoli ???????? Everything was ridiculously flavorful and perfectly spicy
Excellent lamb and aubergine+kale salad . Rice meh. Tiny place that's too busy - don't bother trying without reservations .
Gunpowder aloo chaat and lamb chops are amazing!
Okra fries ! Broccoli ! Delicious. They will text you for a table but no reservations
Amazing Indian tapas offerings. Just order a mix from the menu and share together.
Pork Ribs and Tandoori Chicken are outstanding. Staff were very nice and helpful.
Amazing food! The lamb chops
Nice Indian restaurant , but a bit pricey and based on sharing platters like tapas .
Very tasty Indian food , highly recommend the tasting menu
Great place everything beautifully presented, delicious and unique
Aaloo chat, okra fries , organic baby chicken , saag paneer . Yum
Nice cosy atmosphere and a small creative menu, with great staff !
Loved the lamb chops and the broccoli . They’re on Deliveroo!
Vey bad. Cramped seating arrangement & very noisy when it gets busy. Service was terrible. Food tasted like salted sand & it was very overpriced. Beer is in cans and costs £5.5 - 300ml + service 12%
A cozy traditional place !!!Go for okra fries !!!
Lamb chops are da bomb ????
delicious small plates modern Indian food ..!
Modern Indian street food served in a tiny vibrant restaurant with lots of passion. Not very good for vegetarians .
Excellent food but on the pricey side.
Get the broccoli !
Excellent spot for breakfast. Get the naan sandwiches and sit on the patio. - Lindsay Brooke
Love this place! Sharing style modern Indian dishes, everything is delicious! - Antonia Strotdrees
One of the best Indian places in London. Higher price point than others (eg Dishoom) but still great price quality. - David Bento
One of the favorites spots in London, it always has different merchandise of local designers .. it also have variety of food. Highly recommended ???????????????? - M Aldoss ♏
Cute gem, great staff, perfect cocktails.... especially liked the T-Bomb - helen jackers
Good bread with anchovy butter, friendly staff and never been disdained with food. Delicious! - M S
