Chestnut Hill Reservoir

Nice place for a walk or run around a pretty water view . Two laps around is a 5k!

Sit for a spell and either watch the occasional swans visit or see a kickball, softball, baseball , ultimate, soccer , spikeball, or some recreational activity being played on the nearby fields .

Beautiful place! Not only a great jogging track but the grand views during sunset make the trip even more worth it!

Sit on the grass and enjoy the best beaconsfields' view . Best for jogging as well as for resting :-)

There's two trails around the resevoir: 1 gravel path immediately surrounding the reservoir , and another paved path that follows along at street level . Both are excellent running paths

Don't swim . There is quite a bit of algae and avian excrement when the water level its high and jagged rocks when it is low. Plus the BC students and the old people will not help you out.

Cool to just walk around when the weather's nice. They also have a community garden that looks pretty impressive. My landlady feeds birds there too.

Best place to run in Chestnut Hill area.

Make sure you take the right train when going to a BC football game. Its a pain to walk around when you don't want to!

Go right before sunset and sit on the Cleveland Circle side overlooling the water.

Don't let your dogs swim in the reservoir , the water is very dirty and full of goose poop. It's just asking for an infection. .

The dirt trail is 1.6 miles around.
