If you simply want to see manatees, head over to its backdoor - manatees are usually right there, munching on grass. You can enter and pay $1 for a volunteer to let you touch critters in a touch pool.
Absolutely fun inside and out if you like marine life , my family got a big kick out of the puffer fish !
go up on the elevated observation deck. You'll see some interesting marine life in the river below from this vantage point.
This is a great place to learn about manatees! Bring the whole family.
On our visit we didn't see any manatees. It wasn't worth the detour. The Apollo Beach manatee viewing station is much better.
