Spend the extra money, and swim with the sharks. It's a once in a lifetime experience. The staff , and divers were beyond exceptional. This is a "bucket list" must do.
Expensive, but worth it. Especially if you have a young child with you. They will love this aquarium . Bring them a bathing suit and change of clothes so they can end the day at the water feature.
If you have a Great Explorations Museum ($150/5 people) membership, you can get in FREE here in April and October. Make sure you pet the rays, watch the penguin show and play in the water area too!
I love this place! Took the kids on a Thursday. It was crowded but still really fun. My 2.5-year-old was completely in love with everything
This aquarium has the BEST sea horse display out of several across the country . My daughter loved her amazing birthday party we had here along with the dolphin cruise right from the aquarium !
Explore & Discover the beautiful sea creatures of the Florida Aquarium. Get an up close view of a clown fish or pet a sting ray. Ready for a laugh, you might catch a penguin walking alongside you!
This is a great local aquarium ! Our daughter loves the otters and reef tanks. The divers are super nice as well ! They interacted with kids in the main room for quite a while!
Cool off inside while learning about the wonders of the ocean or play in the Splash Park outside. You can even take a wild dolphin tour or meet a penguin !
Great place to spend the day. See and learn about all types of marine life . Don't forget to utilize the staff members! They have a wealth of information and fun facts.
Great family atmosphere with an array of fish to see. We have an annual pass and definitely worth going.
This place is amazing. I have a 5 year old son and he loved it as much as I did. The prices r great & there is so much to see. The encounters are very close up and hands on 2. Bring a camera 4 sure!
Great place. If you have a zoo membership you can get half off. We have a columbus zoo pass and it saved a ton. Don't forget to check out the ship behind the aquarium .
A smaller aquarium , but there are several interactive exhibits that kids will love. Also, don't forget to bring towels and bathing suits for the free splash park behind the aquarium .
Tide talks for kids and adults are wonderful. We learned all about the ecology of horseshoe crabs and had free food and wine .
Get an annual membership - it covers the cost of parking and unlimited access for one year. You pay per number of members in your household. They have a great outdoor park for children of all ages.
Easter at the aquarium is worth it as a member. Scavenger hunt for eggs in the exhibits which gets your little ones a dippin dots treat. Pictures with the Easter bunny.
It's not big inside actually. It's very attractive for children. But you can experience the voyage it might be more fun~
Everything was fun but the water spray park is such a great bonus. The 4–D theater was a lot of fun.
This place is awesome. Really impressed. The Lego fish displays were so cool!
Exhibits are neat. The petting areas with the handlers are awesome. They really know their animals and talk about them with joy.
Such a fun aquarium ! So many great things for the kids to see and do.
Small but good. So much variety and interactive areas. Loved it
Nice aquarium , very friendly staff ! The dolphins cruise is not worth, is not guaranteed to see dolphins. The rest is great.
At 1:30 p.m., gather at the otter tank to watch them have their lunch . Their caretaker gives an interesting talk while she feeds them.
We enjoyed the day here. Parking is a bit far - if someone is mobility challenged, drop them at the entrance first.
Great place to discover what all those crazy Florida birds and fish actually are! Could be a little more to see though. The Shedd in Chicago is still my fave. Oh and you can pet sting rays...fun!
Excellent selection of sea faring critters, good kids splash zoneee.make sure you bring spare clothes .

A little smaller place than we expected, but fabulous. Beautiful sea life and lots of birds also.
Anyone who lives close by should really consider purchase of a year pass, I have the pass for five for the year. Always a big hit with friends visiting and family. Pays for itself on the first visit
Great membership benefits at other local attractions . Worth it for the whole year just to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July
If you are local get annual pass to make it worth the price. Great for kids - bring their swimsuit for outside water play area
Fun place for the family
Journey through the bay aboard the Bay Spirit-the 72-foot powered catamaran, allows guests to encounter the animals that thrive in these local waters. The only requirement is a sense of adventure
I liked the dolphin cruise the best. Petting a penguin was a close second.
An awesome place! My kids love it! Explore-a-shore is a personal favorite. The kids can play and grown ups can have a cocktail !
Loved it. Very kid friendly and we will be back again when my 3 kids are a bit older.
Been here a few times but this recent trip with the rain must of brought out the grumpies in folks
The tank walls have enough space to let little toddlers stretch their legs from riding in their strollers.
Pay the $25 for the penguin experience. Totally worth it! They are so cute . Who doesn't want to pet a penguin ???
They carry many amazing sea creatures .
This is a great place to spend a weekday morning with little ones! We have spent many mornings there!

Really awesome family-friendly environment!!! Lots of things to see. The new water park for kids was a huge hit.
A great place to shop for unique gifts. Try to get there when a cruise ship is in port to appreciate just how big they are! Several restaurants are here as well and is next to the Florida Aquarium. - Sheri Swammy
