Just had a sandwich here for the first time. Damn good. The ingredients--especially the bread--are very fresh. And it comes with a side salad for $6-$6.75 (depending on the sandwich ) which is amazing.
Choco chip scone is good. Mocha glacier has a bit of weird, powdery aftertaste, disappointingly. More than anything, the interior is great (esp at summertime, when not congested with college students )
Great place to get some work done. Sit upstairs in the cove for meetings if the noise below is too much. Window seat for me! Large roomy windows and good coffee . (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
A classic Berkeley cafe for meeting up with friends. When I was in school I think I people watched and socialized more than I studied here. Good times. :-)
If you are not into strong coffee , I recommend the Caramella on a cold day and the Mocha Glacier on a hot day. Mmmhmmm. Also a great place to study! Grab a seat upstairs !
Good pastries , good coffee , great music and upstairs seating. Awesome place to study or work.
Awesome place to study or work. Great music and atmosphere. Good fresh pastries and coffee .
Yes!! They sell Mexican tamales (both pork and chicken ) every day. Yum!! #cafemilano
Love the atmosphere, classical music , good coffee , and so many flavor choices to create your own.
Chicken or turkey sandwiches with focaccia bread ????????
Mocha or any of their coffee drinks and their egg bagels . Reasonably priced.
Very nice music and good coffee . A little too crowdy on Saturday evening though.
Standard-fare coffee near campus. Gets crowded , very warm upstairs , noisy . Would not recommend for meetings (but students will do it anyway).
Great taste in music . Orchestral versions of pop, film soundtracks and a nice hum of conversation
Popular place because it's across the street from campus, has lots of seating, a lot of outlets, and good food and coffee .
The tomato basil mozzarella salad is delicious and comes with a hunk of focaccia .
A nice place to sit upstairs and get work done.
Good coffee and wifi spot near campus. Pastries are easily avoided though.
I had a kind of business meeting. It may be good for work here.
nice for studying, solid outlet access
The frosted latte was really good.
They don't mix the chocolate syrup in the mochas . That's a weird thing to do (or not do, as it were).
Get the Hot Chicken Sandwich and find a seat upstairs overlooking the entrance.
If you like strong coffee , I recommend ordering a regular with a shot of espresso .
Get coffee in to-go cup. They use pint glasses w/o handles that get too hot.
The chillest vibe.
There's not enough lighting inside. Don't recommend here for studying.
Chicken sandwich , and add avocado . Enough said.
Tomato basil salad is amazing!
The AmEx special doesn't work here since they only take Visa/MasterCard!
Great place.
Try the avocado sandwich . It's amazing. For added zing dip it in your dressing .
Food is okay coffee is pretty good. But wifi is the worst.
there are two sets of power outlets upstairs . go to the furthest table on the right.
Speak clearly or they WILL get your order wrong.
Honestly, the food is good but the coffee is bitter everytime.
Don't order soup after 7pm. But, cap hasn't changed since '87.
One of the best coffee shops near campus. The vanilla latte will always please. They usually have live music on Sundays. Coffee Sun Music makes studying a bit easier. - Jonathan Rodriguez
so accommodating! i always get the burrito bol with rice - beans SO YUM - Viv C
