Be sure to visit on a weekend when the reenactors are present! Usually the first full weekend of the month, plus a few other special events like the weekend closest to Veterans Day.
Head down the beach to find more shark teeth. Low tide is perfect. The characters at the fort are phenomenal. Ask your questions!
It’s the most intact fort I’ve ever visited. Arrive early so you can see everything.
The fort museum and the staff make this easily the most elaborate and interesting state park historical site !
