Sextant recently switched to Neighbor Bakehouse pastries , which means (1) they have delicious and unique pastries and (2) they carry the best (blackberry pistachio ) almond croissant you'll ever have.

The Jostel Gandi is the drink to get. The Jostel Gandi is essentially a dirty chai but it's made with top notch ingredients. Don't forget to check out the seating in the back.

Cool new place on Folsom with good coffee . Beautiful interiors and they let you bring your bike in. Nice outdoor seating area . Great for watching bikes on Folsom St in the morning.

They are super friendly and have a good selection of coffee and pastries . They also roast coffee on premises, have wifi and a fairly quiet atmosphere for some solo work during the week.

Exposed brick! Plenty of space, reliable wifi , and great lattes . My go-to place for getting some weekend work/reading done

Justin, formerly of Front, is producing some spectacular roasts here. The maiden voyage is a blend of both washed and natural Ethiopian beans, yummy.

Chai espresso drink is too sweet; stick to the basics. A lovely place to get some work done; free wifi , skylights and a chill crowd

Excellent espresso , friendly service and a gem for the area. The baked goods are great too - I recommend the donut !

The only thing I care about: strong coffee , outlets, good lighting, and space. It meets my expectations.

I love their Kochere Ethiopian roast. I usually go for their mocha on ice. Great environment as well .

Great staff , delicious pour over , try the Colombian if they still have it when you come (nutty, coco , smooth, dynamic flavor profile).

Great place to work - free WiFi , good coffee , and lots of seats

Great pour-overs, but order on a germy touch screen and they've got a weird ass bathroom if you expect to wash your hands before handling your grub. The wrong things are touchless, my dudes.

A pretty negative first impression, I received a cappuccino that had cotton candy foam (no melted ice cream texture here) and bitter bitter espresso .

I've given Sextant a few tries and it continues to let me down on the espresso side. It lacks the richness of other 3rd wave roasters in SF.

Excellent single origin pour overs that are roasted on-site.

Such a great space & baristas, but they don't offer outlets with the free wifi . It's tricky to spend time getting through off/online work. Dead battery before you're ready to leave :(

If undecided, just go with the standard House Drip. It's a notch above your typical at-the-ready hot coffee .
