Whenever I visit Durham this place is always #1 on my places to visit. I LOVE this bar . Jason and Jon are amazing. Great service and very chill atmosphere. Love everything about it!

Best hushpuppies I’ve ever had in my life. Outdoor seating was great! Service was slow but we overheard someone say they were down 2 waiters that day and we weren’t in a rush, so it wasn’t a big deal

I’m not an onion fan, so the “Onion Hushpuppies ” didn’t sound great to me. Luckily, I am a hushpuppy fan, so I gave them a try and am happy to say they’re dern good.

Faves: breakfast - all the Benedict's are amazing/ best hollaindaise I've ever had. French toast is quite the treat! Lunch/dinner- pork sliders , spicy chicken sandwich

Dinner at Alivia 's was awesome tonight! Second time here, & again service wasn't top notch, BUT the food was excellent. I had the blackened chicken tortellini - great choice!

Great atmosphere and outdoor seating . Really good value for drinks and a great spot to hang out with friends late night .

brunch will mean you have to wait a long time to get your food. You can sit! But you won't eat yet. the food was not worth the wait. Come after brunch , before dinner and get the grilled cheese .

Try the lemon drop or Cosmo . And the brunch is glorious in the weekend. 2 for 5 beer special as well !

Brunch menu is limited and you can't get the normal menu until after 3pm. Very few options for my mom (has celiac) and service was slow. I usually love this place, this was so disappointing!

I always hear bad things but dinner at Alivia 's tonight was great. Nachos were handmade , calamari was crisp and the pork tenderloin was sweet and succulent.

Late night watering hole for MBA students and other disreputables. Good veggie burgers and friendly service .

Have a boozy shake...delicious. Don't expect much from the food, it's just okay for too much money and too many other better options for bbq .

The food is yummy, but tonight I was completely ignored. The restaurant was sufficiently staffed and upon looking around only 3 other tables of ppl had just sat down.

Pork sliders are killer? Killer BAD maybe! Burnt pork flavor and limp sweetpotato fries . Risotto was overcooked too.

Go with the poached egg over steak hash for brunch . You won't be disappointed.

The restaurant claims to have great fresh jalapeño poppers . They are terrible. No flavor, overly breaded , and bland. The crab cakes were tasty - pan fried and lightly breaded .
