Differently from the old venue, here you can get in for free and have a look around (with a free exhibition ). Cafeteria is always good. You don't have the view of the old one but it's very pleasant
The building is stunning, with lots of open space for admiring it. More free exhibits than previously which is great for intro to design. Downstairs café seems like an afterthought, cramped and dark.
The main exhibition is on the top floor, with the paid exhibitions on the ground floor and the basement . Very cool building, but surprisingly little of the floorspace is accessible to the public
A very nice upgrade for Design Museum , a beautiful and spacious space with neatly organised exhibitions . Recommended for design geeks and curious people alike.
Such a great museum . Entry is free and it’s appropriate for adults and children. They’ll often put on exhibitions that should be booked in advance. The shops are so tempting and amazing for gifts .
More than £80m was spent into the new venue for the museum . The entrance is now free and you'll find everything from the a AK47 to an original Sony Walkman.
Super recommended for anyone who has an interest on how designers, makers and users affect the world we live in. Really well put together. Not as affordable as other museums in London but worth it.
What to do in London when it's raining? Let's have a wander around The Design Museum - it seems everyone else had the same idea. Lots to see but so busy it's rather unpleasant. ????
Beautiful space with thoughtful, well-curated exhibitions . If the Ferrari exhibition is still on, see it!
Good museum with amazing exhibitions ! Also, they have a nice cafeteria
Love the winding route leading up to the top floor where permanent exhibitions are
Really small public exhibit area-worth having a look if you're into design but you can cover it in 45 mins, so don't go out of your way for a visit.
Every single interactive element was broken when we went. The fashion exhibit was smaller than expected and many dresses weren’t visible from the back. Buying tix in-person is inexplicably slow
Amazing building, but superficial and very poorly organized expositions . So much wasted potential :(
Good for passing time, with the occasional good exhibition . But it seems to be more about the building than the contents.
Very relevant permanent display on “designer maker user”, with day to day appliances and gadgets.
Beautiful place, but very small exhibition
This museum is awesome so much to learn about our actual living style!
Beautiful architecture and very interesting exhibitions !
Bit of a disappointing experience. Whereas the building itself is impressive, the permanent exhibition display is a mess.
New premises, but only the top floor is free. Long queues over the Christmas holidays ????
A sparse museum . Mostly pay to see. But a good way to kill an hour.
The building is awesome and the permanent exhibition is interesting although a little crammed.
I loved the classic designs and my good friend pointed out I was wearing a few!
Super cool place. Tons of interesting stuff to see. A mind opener :)
Very inspiring museum . Never thought about design in this way. A must visit.
Very interactive. Not only watch designs, also about creating and production of objects.
Nice museum , but not up to the London standardsBut I've seen better around the world (on Design)
don't bother the free portion of it is miniscule and the other two floors are paid exhibitions
The Ferrari exhibit was great. Totally worth the visit
Very calming and cosy museum
Kubrick exhibition is excellent
Beautiful museum that reflects design
Lovely way to pass some time. Curious and well presented.
Very crowded , filled with kids shouting and grabbing everything. Feels like the tube at rush hour.
Go to the Exhibition dedicated to Kubrick.
Beautiful architecture !
Some good exhibitions of modern design , not a big museum .
Very beautiful museum
Should we really consider moving to Mars??
Electronic music exhibition was alright; quite surface level in its application. Nice building though
Great exhibitions
More space than the old museum on the Thames.
A place where you can think outside the box!
Look up and take in the architecture .
Amazing exbitions and structure
Visiting the amazing Kubrick exhibition .
children activity on the 2nd floor!
Designing with living system ????
My new favourite place

Organic food at its best. Huge variety, great quality. Fantastic sushi! - Katerina Pap
Amazingly peaceful garden but unfortunately only during the weekdays. Has become very popular lately for weekend strolling (families & tourists). - Christina Nikita
