Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort

Please don't visit. I want this resort to remain Tahoe 's best kept secret resort . Smooth powder long runs, villagey vibe, casual and unpretentious and best of all, not crowded and showy like heavenly.

They have great deal here for first time ski & rides. Try their learn to ski/ride this year and save! The instructor here are really patient and right to the point. You won't regret.

Learned to ski here. This resort holds a special place in my heart. Quality runs, quality staff , tons of fun. Skip Heavenly crowds and come here.

Love this place. Best days to visit is early in the week (mon-wed). Typically it's much less crowded and no lines all day. More value for your $$ :)

Good place for learning on the south side of the lake . It's quick and convenient to get to but that makes it crowded . Smaller mountain but has some great bowls after storms .

Great skiing , don't forget the lake view at the top of smokehouse BBQ , my kids have learned a ton from the lessons here.

On a fresh powder day, this mountain is a hidden gem . The tree skiing and lines you can pick are amazing!! Very underrated mountain !!

For good Burritos/Chilli, head to the bottom of the West Bowl (Baja Grill). For something a little unusual, try the Happy Hippie at the Base Lodge (go early to avoid the long and slow line here).

This is a great place to ski or snowboard ! For beginners there are bunny slopes for practice and advanced slopes for experienced skiers and snowboarders .

Best bang for the buck. Go during end of season and buy everything at the store for 50% off! Steal!

A bit more rugged than the other Tahoe mountains , but it’s also less crowded for the most part.

For cheap food: ask for a rice bowl and then ask for extra beans when u pick it up. It is enough for two

grab a beer in the pub at the end of the day and wait til the parking lot empties out to leave. nice, chill way to end the day!

Best mountain around! Fun terrain , great parks , West Bowl on a pow day is how the gods enjoy Tahoe

Free shuttle from South Shore. Leave the car and hop on the bus .

Wagon wheel and sugar n spice can be a bit flat in areas.

This place can get very cramp. Board/Ski safely everyone.

Head upstairs to Aspen Cafe at the Base Lodge for free Wifi . The signal is too weak everywhere else.

The loading zone in front of wild mountain ski school is a time saver when dropping off kids.
