入場無料です。餌やり体験 やポニーにも無料で参加 できます。なぜか分園よりもヤギ などの頭数は少ないです。土日は家族連れで賑わっていますが、平日はガラガラです。
施設老朽化のため2018年7月2日から長期休園予定のようです。再開は2020年夏頃の予定との事です。
区内の小中学生、「こども動物クラブ」のメンバーが運営に参加 。子どもたちにとっては敷居の低い親切な飼育員で、気軽に質問している。メンバーも得意げに話してくれるのがほほ笑ましい。
エサやりの整理券は2:30〜。3:30からエサやり体験 。整理券なくても参加 できます。ポニー乗馬 は3:30まで。
開園時間3月～11月：10時～16時30分12月～2月：10時～16時休園日：毎週月曜日（休日に当たるときは、その直後の休日でない日）入園無料
山羊、羊に餌やりの時間があります。モルモット も触れます。
