It's the perfect example of D.C. people, all A-type personalities who are so self centered they don't notice anyone else around them, this city needs a dose of common courtesy.

It's Costco so you know what to expect. They have parking garage now, but this place is always super mobbed. Hotdog make it worth it.

They have recently built and opened and huge parking garage that will alleviate some of the horrendous parking issues that people have complained about in the past.

This location has a chocolatier ! Large Capital buildings, Pentagons, along with champagne bottles are staples. Seasonal options (turkey , bunny etc) are available as well

I did a fun experiment when I was here, I used my Minnesota nice and said excuse me or sorry when I bumped into someone or was in their way, the look of shock on all their faces was priceless

Try to come here, or any other costco, on a weekend to get free samples of some of their food and drinks; it's a great way to have a little snack while shopping esp if you have children.

if you lose your parking ticket go to the manager and will give you a sticker for three dollars so you don't have to pay the $20 lost ticket fee

If you go there when you're hungry, you will enjoy the food samples...meatballs , sausages , bread with hummus , etc.

Parking can be a bear. I recommend getting there before they open. Then you can get in and out quickly.

Don't sleep on the variety pack. These brews rival the big names and are just awesome.

This Costco is so crowded ! If it wasn't for the tire center, I would never put up with the throngs of rude, cheap shoppers cutting me off every 2 steps 2 eat enough samples 2 take the place of a meal!

If you're a young intern, take a suitcase, buy stuff, ride the metro back. They'll think you're going to the airport .

Get here early on the weekend or it'll be hard to find parking .

They now have self checkout stations at the far right near the bathrooms

Got my cart (and 3 favorite canvas shopping bags) stolen here. Don't leave your cart unattended on a Sunday afternoon.

You do NOT need to be a Costco member to use the pharmacy nor do you need to wait in the main shopping line to check out, but the hours are more restrictive than the store as a whole.

Keep your parking ticket with you. Validate it as soon as you leave Costco with your receipt.

This place is always very busy on weekends, Fern Street gets to be a jammed mess, and you often have to circle for a parking space . Avoid weekends.

Make sure you get something to eat at the Costco food court before you shop... if you don't you will end up spending more money on food than you would want to because you'll be hungry

Cheap guilty pleasure: pistachio gelato waffle cone $1.50

Never cross the street during main hours. It's like a real live game of Frogger and you're the Frog

I won't be back. Worst tire center ever. After 3 pm appt they called at 5 to say my car was done. Gave me the keys to another Honda, then realized never worked on my car @ all. 6:30. Still waiting.
