Oh my the red cabbage and the tossed salad here is my all time favorite. With the cheese bread is soooooo good!!! This place has never failed me once.

All the food is good here. Get a dinner and split btwn 2 ppl. Only $6.95 for a split plate charge and the food is more than enough. North woods sampler is awesome- get a lil bit of everything

It’s your standard steak place but there is a surprising number of seafood options . The desserts here are huge. The restaurant is dark inside and really kitschy .

Opened 1966. Steakhouse food with a rustic , hunting lodge theme. Saw dust on floors & lots of kitsch.

Red cabbage and blue cheese salads are a must with the toasty cheese bread . If you aren't ordering a main entree (like you're stopping by for a burger ) you can add on salads/bread for a few bucks.

Make sure to get the cheese butter on your baked potato . And the house steak sauce for your steak !

A So. Cal classic! My family has been going for decades! The purple cabbage slaw & cheese bread will make you weak in the knees! Fantastically fun family joint!

I'm having the cabbage salad and its just ok. But, mixed w the blue cheese salad and topped with the cheesy bread , it's awesome!!!

I know this is a steakhouse , but they have a veggie platter for vegetarians that come with their meat-eating family!
