The pub name a distant nod to the Christian past! This is the ' back garden ' of the friary that once stood here and where the friars grew their herbs! a little bit of history! Yes, the carpet stinks !
Sports bar in the front, sketchy club in the back, but they have cheap beer , decent food and the NFL Red Zone channel so it's all good by me.
Can't go wrong with a good old Wetherspoons!

The everpresent smell of vomit should be thought of as a feature not a drawback, as it is quite possibly the only defining aspect of Lloyd's.

This theatre has a cozy atmosphere and a 19th century feel. The deco is authentic. It has regular well known productions, and the place is compact, whereby one is able to see the stage at any angle - Mark Cobley
