Scene of Babu the great red panda escape in 2005! It sparked a city wide panda-hunt and he was eventually discovered in nearby Moseley by a dog walker. He was later reunited with Tensing, his brother.
They have lots of rare and new species now. My fave is the bintorong. He's just by the meerkats and otters !
Great place to explore for kids but pricing excessive IMO for what's on show. £5 adults £2.50 for kids over 5.
Some very inquisitive meerkats . Shake your keys and they all come out.
The Otters are the best! Look at them juggling in the video tip Read more
