Fantastic new addition to Sunnyside! A staple tent at Smorgasburg, great to see Cemitas with a brick-and-mortar venue. Fantastic sandwiches , burritos , and tacos in a cozy atmosphere . A must visit.
Had my doubts about the southern fried chicken cemitas , but they proved me wildly wrong. The chicken is spicy , crispy , and juicy, and works in beautiful harmony with the traditional cemita fillings.
The fried chicken cemita ???????????????? How they layer everything together is beyond me. The pickled onions were a surprise but an outstanding addition. Great happy hour too, 12-7pm ???? ????

A refreshing offer of cemitas from the mundane tacos and burritos (which they also have). Fried onion rings were great too- had it with the chives n onion sauce.
