This place was super cheap and still close to the city centre of Watford. It wasn’t what I would normally go for however for the price it was acceptable. Single bed with private shower , shared toilet .
Cheap and cheerful pub , good beer garden on the odd British summer day
Nice meat and £5 a bottle of wine on a wednesday.
Decent selection of real ales with Deuchars, Wainwright, Black Sheep and Bombardier on during my visit.
Food here is good and affordable and service is good also :)
New Menu isn't as good. They've ruined the Chicken New Yorker!!
Went for a meal last night (Sunday) with 8 friends. Had starter, main, went to order dessert and was told the kitchen had closed because of quiz night. Should have been told when initially ordering.
Food. Wines . Pool table . Backyard
Average pub food in a big soulless barn.Kids meals only a quid on Thursdays. Was the UK HQ of US Military Intelligence in WW2
Been here and it's nice
Keep on your socks while taking a shower .
Food is lovely, service is slow....so very very slow.
Better than a Harvester.
Cute pub and, erm, Thai restaurant? Love the sweet corn cakes, pass on the tempura. Gets very busy, so make a booking or arrive before 7p! - Amy Graff
Ember Inns pub. No kids loo/ menu, under 14s banished outside to the grotty car park with the smokers (bearable only in summer) Gutting as it's near the park/ most family friendly part of Watford. - Melanie Mack
