High Bridge
The High Bridge connects the neighborhoods of Washington Heights in Manhattan and Highbridge in the Bronx, and is accessible from both boroughs. The High Bridge is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. High Bridge hours will change seasonally.

Recently renovated. Built in 1848. This is the best view one can get from uptown to downtown. Water passed over this aqueduct to deliver fresh H2O downstate from upstate reservoirs for a growing city !
If you liked the High Lind before a trillion others also did, you'll love High Bridge. Fabulous Manhattan views and a cool way to get between the Bronx and Manhattan.
There are some driftingesque souls so i suggest daylight before 5. So very yesteryear.
If riding, on Manhattan side bike path on 165th leads right to it
